Hi I have a Bosch washing machine that keeps filling when starting a wash. Tried blowing down the pressure switch hose. All ok. Can hear pressure switch switching. Tested with continuity and it is switching. Also replaced the water inlet solenoid. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi all i have a new world NWDHT714W machine. Fairly sure the drum bearing is on the way out. It spins freely , doesn’t seem too worn but definitely very noisy on fast spin question is, is the bearing available to change out on this machine or is it a machine that the bearing can not be replaced because it is part of the actual drum assembly thanks in advance

Hello, It is my first post here, and I hope I will find some help about this matter. I have this washing machine Bosch WVG30461GB, which started acting up a while back. So I'd click on the start button, after having selected the program, the door would click once and then click again, the machine would beep twice, the lock icon won't come on and the machine won't start. It used to be intermittent, and in the instances where it didn't start, retrying a few times usually got it working again. About a week ago the issue became permanent, no matter how much I retry the issue persists. After having checked the obvious things, including no blockages or …

I've checked the back to see if the drive belt had snapped only to realise there insnt one visible. See pic. The drum is very loose. It can be moved forward and backwards slightly and when I turn it with my hand there's friction. A bit crunchy-like. I'm guessing there's a problem with the motor. Here's an 'interesting' vid of the internals: DzVtWwrnnVI (put this code into google) Heres a full part list: https://www.samsungspares.co.uk/laundry/washing-machine/wd8704rja/catalogue.pl?path=627424%2C627463&model_ref=9321017 Heres a replacement drive belt: https://www.partscentre.co.uk/samsung-washing-machine-drive-belt-pol92.html H…

Miele W844 washing machine. The cycle finish fine but the pump runs on and does not stop. You can open the door and then it stops The drum is empty and water is pumped out fine. Checked the filter and all is clear and the pump impellor is fine This machine uses a pressure transducer to measure the water level - tried disconnecting the tube to this and the pump still runs on. Are there any other sensors that will keep the pump running at the end of the cycle? Thanks

I cleaned the filter, which I've done loads of times, and now the washer is not filling with water. I've checked the filter is back in properly. There is no error code and it would do a full cycle if I let it without water in. We've checked all pipes and water is getting to it. We've also tried a new valve as per the photo.

Hi all I've got a Miele WT2780 and the clothes are coming out wet. There is no water at all in the drum however the clothes are very wet so it seems to be an issue with the spin dry. I opened the front capsule / filter thing, let all the water drain and checked for a blockage. I took off the drainage pipe to check for blockages. I can pour water right through the drainage pipe so I guess there is no blockage. I reattached the drainage pipe in a straight line going to a bowl just in case there was some sort of bend but the result is the same. Even though the spin cycle sounds normal and finishes without errors I noticed that the clothes don't move they stay …

Hi, does anyone have an idea what part might cause this? The washing machine will start a cycle and then stop, with the timer not moving, and sit there for hours until turned off, pause/start will not move it on. I have started it in test mode and it will fill left and right, pumps will empty and recirculate, and I hear the heater relay click. I feel the water get warm if it gets that far. In spin test it will empty the drum and spin fine. So separately all the parts seem to work. But put the parts together and it doesn't make a whole, it won't complete a wash. It did start to misbehave a few weeks ago where I noticed it had stopped, had spun, w…

A few months ago, the main motor on my ISE 1606w washing machine stopped working. I took the frequency motor card out, inspected it all seemed well the motor seemed to be OK. Reassembled it and it worked. It has now failed again, in the same way, only this time the fault has not gone away after I inspected it and then reassembled it. If I put the machine into a simple programme such as Rinse with no spin and then press start the following happens lights l1to l5 light and 4 appear on the display panel. a short burst of inlet water a minute of nothing , then another short burst of inlet water. The Drain pump then kicks in after about 20 secs there is another s…

I have a 10 year old ISE10 1606W and recently it's been aborting washes in the middle of a program. It will sometimes spin, when spin is selected separately, but mostly not. Occasionally, it won't turn the drum at all at the beginning of a program, having initiated what seems like a half-hearted fill, and will then sit for a long time doing nothing before sometimes initiating a drain. No error codes are ever displayed - that I'm aware of - although the 1606W doesn't seem to have many anyway. My first thought was that it wasn't draining completely and so I checked that the drain hose was completely clear and that the pump, filter and sump were clean. I found very litt…

Hey everyone, may someone had experience with that issue Hotpoint NSWM743UW 2.5 years old Flashing f01 fault and doing that clicking noise. It can load programme - pump in water and drain out but doesn't perform any washing function. It takes water in but doesn't spin at all. Always doing that clicking noise during cycle, seems the noise is in the bottom area where's motor. I had 30mins programme but at the end where's 1 minute, it takes maybe 10-15 mins to finish the programme. It pumps out water with no issues at the cycle. I check connectors, taken out front top PCB board out didn't see any burns or something like that. A bit confuse where to look. At the e…

hello Andy have you come across this before. I bought a Samsung ecobubble 8Kg washing machine out of a paper cheap enough and its got a Carbon Brush type wash motor on it. I got it for spares , or as a project for me to work on ... or maybe later to sell on if someone looking for one. it wasn't working , would come on and not go any further. I fixed that part it was just a couple of loose wires. so, have got the washing machine working , but when its on a wash cycle with clothes inside and the drum is filled with water - to nearly the correct amount , it makes a funny creaking noise (have video'd it) . my older Hotpoint used to make exactly the same …

Hi guys, I hope you're all keeping well. I have an issue with my Nordemende integrated washer/dryer, which I was hoping you might be able to help me with. During a recent wash cycle, the machine began making very loud thumping noises and trashing about. I immediately turned the machine off and on initial inspection noticed that the rubber ring surrounding the door had been twisted out of shape (see picture attached). Although the drum appears to still rotate as it normally would have, on closer inspection, I could see that it was out of alignment, as its distance from the front of the machine at the top was much greater than that of the bottom, if that m…

Hi, I have a Beko WI1573 washing machine and I have had three instances where the circuit board which contains the LED fails. The screen suddenly doesnt display anything during a cycle. I have replaced this board andthe machine works as normal again. The first time i did this it lasted months, the second time it only lasted a 2.5wks. I have attached images of the last 2x circuit boards. Has anyone had this before? Does it suggestthere is a problem elsewhere that is frying the boards or that I am just being sent faulty spare parts (each time they were bought from espares so they are new). Thanks Alex

My front load washing machine fills up with water normally but doesn's spin for a few minutes. After a few minutes, it spins for 30 seconds, then stops again, after a few minutes, it spins for 30 seconds and it keeps going on like this. If I change it to drain the water, it drains it no problem. It does this on every cycle and the timer does not run down. Does anyone know what could be wrong? Much appreciated!

Hi The drying knob on our indesit IWDC6125 washer dryer is loose and not clicking. Now you cant stop the machine drying. I read online that you can easily take out the knob and replace it with another by clicking it in and that would be a fix. It was a parts shop though so not sure its accurate. Help appreciated many thanks.

Hi - I returned to my washing maching to discover that the cycle hadn't finished and the pump was running. It continued running even when the rotary dial was set to off, so I switched it off at the mains and investigated. 1) I removed the pump access plug and saw the pump was running as it should, no blockages. Also the drain hose is clear at the sink outlet. 2) But when I pulled the machine out, there was water underneath, and also high up in machine after the back came off. I can see one of the detergent dispenser inlet pipes has cracked, which has resulted in water spraying around and into the base. So I'm assuming this is the root cause. 3) I can sort t…

I just did a normal wash, nothing different than usual. When the spin got faster it made an almighty banging sound. When it finished, the clothes were soaking wet and there were bits of thin white plastic all over the clothes. The drum doesn't feel particularly loose but there is a lot more resistance, and grinding when you try to manually spin it. Grateful for any ideas before I book an engineer. Thank you

Hello, thanks for reading my post. I have a Miele W5872 edition 111, but have a problem in that the washing comes out soaking. I've noticed during the final spin cycle, at some point towards the end, water is injected into the drum - which I'm guessing shouldn't happen. We have to therefore run another spin at the end of each wash, and it is then fine. I've taken the machine apart and cleaned out all pipes - which were fairly clogged up. I also spotted that it uses a part which I've researched as the 'non return brake valve'. This is internal to the machine and located the point where the external waste pipe connects. It also connects an internal pipe to th…

My AEG L76850 washing machine from 2007-2009 gives me an "E10" error. According to the manufacture the error is about the water intake. When starting a wash, it hums loudly and takes in a tiny bit of water (confirmed on the water meter to the house). When 10-15 minutes has passed it gives the E10 error. When I press the start button it tries to take water in again. After 1-2 hours of clicking on the start button, it reaches a point where the water intake works - water is flowing through like a waterfall. During the wash it drains water and takes in a fresh supply of water - maybe several times. The water intake works here too. After a wash ha…

Hello everyone 😀 My hotpoint washing machine has begun making an odd low humming noise, it can be heard even when the drum is not spinning and only happens towards the start of the washing cycle, maybe when it is heating up the water? After those initial stages, after the water has heated up (can feel warmth through the door) it stops making that noise. I have recorded it, listen out for the noise between the spins at the start and end of the video. The noise is constant in the video, but you won't hear it when the drum is spinning as that louder noise hides it. Does anyone know what this is please? Is it a sign that something is about to go w…

My Hotpoint WT540 washing machine only spins on the fastest cycle, even when a slower setting is selected on the dial. Can this be fixed easily?

We got this second hand Miele. Sadly on some cycles the timer stops and cycle carries on until stopped. There’s also a bit of unusual sound on spin, it’s not very loud and doesn’t occur all the time. Kinda like there’s something loose there maybe. Any idea if this can be fixed and how much it would cost? Hopefully not as much as new machine What’s the best to use for descaling? Can I use critic acid ?
