Sarah38
Hi I have an indesit IWC71252 washing machine. The wash seems to be ok but it beeps a lot throughout the cycle. It’s usually 3 or 4 beeps but I don’t know what’s causing it. I have read the FAQ’s and can’t see the answer. I have opened the bottom and unscrewed the cover it was clean. No lights are flashing and I have done a video of the beeps but don’t know how to attach it. can someone please help or advise me. I am a single mum and really need this for my kids clothes during this awful time. thanks for any help. sarah x Edited April 5, 2020 by Sarah38
Sarah38
I am currently doing a wash and it seems like the only time it was beeping was on the first wash programme it's moved into the second programme now and doesn't seem to be beeping but I'll let you know. Root Admin Whitegoodshelp (Andy) Posted April 8, 2020 Root Admin Report Share Posted April 8, 2020 It is aye. The lights probably also serve to indicate the times on the left but only when on delay start which you may never have used. So is the washer working ok apart from the beeping or is it failing, if so it could be indicating an error code if it's lighting lights up at the same time Washing machine lights flashing Need a repair or spare parts? Sarah38
its Running fine. And sometimes it’s beeping continuously and sometimes it’s once or twice throughout the wash. I read your lights flashing page but none of the lights are flashing at all. 2 hours ago, Whitegoodshelp (Andy) said: It is aye. Root Admin Whitegoodshelp (Andy) Posted April 9, 2020 Root Admin Report Share Posted April 9, 2020 There's another recent thread about Hotpoint washing machines constantly beeping throughout the wash. Hotpoint are made by the same company as Indesit. Have a look here Need a repair or spare parts? Lwio
I have an indesit machine. A bwd71453. Two years ago it started beeping during washes. Sometimes it didn’t beep sometimes it did. It was still in warranty so after 3 visits and two replacement boards the beeping was cured. He replaced the top board, behind the knobs, no joy. Then he replaced the bottom one, that seemed to work. Now two years later the beeping has started again. I’m not having it repaired as it still washes so I just close the door and don’t listen to the beeps. I will be choosing a different brand next time.
Chrissy
I have the same washing machine and experiencing the same issue. Its only just over a year old, the beeping drives me nuts but I cant afford to pay for an engineer I would've thought it would've lasted longer with being new! Help!! Gemma
Mine was doing the same. I figured out the sensor in the dispenser drawer was blocked, cleaned it all out and no beep 🙏

I've removed the detergent draw, but can't see any obvious sensor to clean. A photo of it would be ideal if anyone has the time to take one.
