My brand new Indesit washing machine BWD71453WUK was installed, however when it was plugged in all the lights came on and just began to flash. No other buttons are operational and you cannot do anything with the machine. The only way to get it to stop is to unplug. Can any one help?

Hi Got a Hotpoint aqualtis washing machine. Prob 8/9 years old. Has been really noisy spinning for a few weeks and last night the clothes came out soaking wet after a spin. The drum is turning but it sounds flat as if there is no power to the spin. Could anyone help at all? it is worth getting someone out to look at it or just replacing? Many thanks in advance Kelly

I have a Hotpoint washing machine. The drum spins perfectly during the wash, but when it comes to the spin cycle it doesn't work. It drains perfectly well, too. I usually have the spin set to the max 1600rpm, but any speed setting I've tried isn't working, it just slowly spins in alternating directions at the normal wash rate. Edit: I failed to mention that the water wasn't draining properly a few days ago so I opened it up and removed a lot of debris from the filter. Maybe I've unintentionally done something to make the washing machine think there's always water in the drum or something like that, so it refuses to start the spin cycle, even when it's empty and d…

My LG WM1832CW washer is probably already over 10 years old. But I have been having a persistent problem for years. I cannot use the Delicates or Hand wash cycles, as whenever I do, water floods out from the bottom of the washer . I think this is coming from the center front underneath part of the machine, somewhere to the right of the drain filter on the left side of the machine. But water pours out during the wash cycle as well as the rinse and drain cycles. This doesn't happen wihen I wash clothes with the other cycles - normal heavy, extra time, etc. - just with delicates and handwash cycles. Any help would be appreciated!

I have a 8.5 year old Beko that has started leaking soapy water back up through the soap drawer when spinning. I have changed the pump and the level sensor but it still happens. It also occasionally jumps back to an earlier point in a cycle. Any advice? Thanks

Hi Chaps, Am new to the forum, I was wondering if you could give me some points on why my Beko WMB61431s won’t start. The display shows the time but does not start, I had a similar problem with the timer counting down and I replaced the bushes and this solved the problem. I have again replaced the bushes, but this time the problem still remains. Hope you can help. Regards David

Hi All! I can't find any relevant help, for this question, in any of the available recources on the site. They have been very useful up to this point though. I now have replacement components on order for my failed control board due to their help. I am thouroughly checking all parts on my Hoover Visiontech 6KG while waiting for them to turn up. All check out apart from the pressure switch - 41035075 70/50 -340, analogue, single click, doesn't seem to make sense when I get a meter on it. From left to right the terminals are 16, 11, 14, 12, but only three 16, 11, 14 are connected to PCB. I get open circuit between any combination of the 16, 11, 14 …

Hello, I have brought a new washing machine for my new build house. I have installed it but it's not draining. I believe I have located the problem to the connection under my sink. The pump works because when I push the black piece that's inside the waste pipe in when it's draining water squirts out it's just not doing it on the connection I can't hear anything. Do any of you know how to resolve this ? Many thanks in advance

Hello all. I'm struggling to repair my Indesit IWDD 6105 B ECO UK model washer dryer which displayed F13 error code last time it ran. Since first spotting the error, I have tried following all good advice available online. I've opened the top lid and undone the heating tunnel. Fan looks to be in bad shape. I suspected the NTC sensor first, but its resistance readings seem close to what others have seen (~20k ohms) and it is responding to rising temperature. When I tried rotating the fan (while still attached to its motor), it seemed to have quite a bit of friction - maybe it was tightened too close to the tunnel shell, making motor run slower than normal. B…

Hello. I attempted to repair my hotpoont WMD 962 washing machine as there appeared to be something stuck under the drum so attempted to remove the heating element. I took the retaining bolt completely out (wothout tapping the screw thread with a hammer) and the rubber seal is loose and goes into the machine but not out. I am unable to put the clip (where the screw came through) back to reattach the bolt. I have read on the forums that you can use screwdrivers to prise the element out or try to hold it but that has not worked. Is there any way I can either reconnect the screw so I can tap with a hammer. Or take the element out without damaging the rubber…

My washing machine is 9 months old, since new it has been very noisey on a spin, this seems to be the drum moving excessively. I have had repair man out and they have replaced the struts but it still has the same noise. On an empty spin in does not make th noise, so not the bearings. Some loads are louder than others. What should I check??

Hi All, The display on my AEG lavamat protex plus AEG L98699FLE2 washing machine is hardly visible. It's not completely blank, rather it's really faint and not in a homogenous way either, meaning some parts of the text/symbols are slightly visible but most are totally invisible. Would anyone know if this is simply a display module failure & requires a simple swap, or if this symptom could be caused by an electrical failure elsewhere in the machine. The machine functions perfectly otherwise, no error codes, no unusual behaviour, etc. 6yrs old this year. Any tips appreciated.

We have a Hotpoint WF561P Washing machine. It completes a wash cycle normally then refuses to spin up to speed. I have: Checked the pump for blockages - the pump discharges normally on various parts in the cycle, e.g emptying wash water before and after rinse. I have blown down the pressure switch tube, and heard bubbles in the drum, no blockage. I have changed the pressure switch. The drum rotates in both directions normally and quietly in all the cycle parts except that in spin it only revolves slowly (approx 60 r.p.m.) This continues for about fifteen minutes, in that time the pump runs for about four minutes, stops for approx 30 seconds, this pu…

The Hotpoint manual provides guidance and a diagram for removing the detergent dispenser tray, which says to lift up and pull forward.. I've not seen one of this type before, instead of the usual tray that pulls forward, it has a swinging grey front door opening to 90degrees revealing the white plastic soap and conditioner tray. As the external parts are all grey, it is easy to see which bit of the white innards should be lifted and pulled forward as instructed, but no amount of tugging and wiggling has got it to move. Am I missing something here? I can't see any obvious clip or spring device. Anyone know how to get this tray out?

We keep getting an E03 code, and we have checked for blockages in the filter, drain pump and drainage pipe. If the washing machine isn't used for a few days, it works perfectly fine for the next wash, and then on the second wash we will get E03. Any suggestions gratefully recieved!

Hi, My washing machine keeps filling with water when on any program including spin and drain. On a wash cycle it will fill up and then drain and end the cycle early without going through the washing cycle. On spin and drain it will keeps filling water via the drawer but does spin and drain. I can stop at the end and remove the clothes fine but if left it continues to fill up again and drain etc. If I turn the machine off then it stops. From my research this is likely to be an issue with the water inlet valve or a problem with the pressure system. I have checked the hose on the pressure sensor and this seems fine. I have also blown down it into the pres…

I have a Beko washing machine and it's about 9 years old. Just recently the pause/cancel button has been very hit and miss as to whether it works or not, but other than than the machine has been working fine; but yesterday when I switched on the machine the lights came on as usual but just as the cycle was about to start my electrics tripped. I put it back on and again it tripped, I switched off the washing machine at the mains and all was fine, but the minute I switched the machine back on it tripped again. I'm guessing it can't be the fuse in the plug as if that had blown then surely I wouldn't get any lights coming on at all. Before I call out an electrician or bu…

Hello there, I recently replaced the bearings on the tub of my LG WD16223FD. After putting everything back I realized that one of the shock absorber is pressed completely down and making loud noise during spin cycle. So I went ahead and bought a new one. After installing the new shock absorber, it is also completely pressed and makes loud noise. You can see that in the attached video. Now there could be 2 possible reasons for it the new shock absorbers are also bad (fake) OR I did something wrong while putting the drum back together. The right (white) is the new one. The black is the original one. What could be the problem? I am ou…

I have a hopoint fdd9640 washer dryer. It washes OK no problems but when on any drying cycle it makes a start stop noise every few seconds from the powder/liquid tray. I can hear it a little upstairs pulling on the pipes as though a tap has been opened but the noise from the machine is loud. The item was only delivered yesterday so it is still brand new. Hotpoint say that the noise is normal and it is the machine sending out a jet of water to keep cleaning the machine of fluff however this is my 4th washer dryer and never have I had this kind of issue before. I don't believe it is a water pressure issue however I have turned the pressure down to test it and it makes no di…

Machine is 6 months old. Filter had a very very small amount of fluff but otherwise clear. Impellor turns fine. Removed sump and no sign of any blockage from drum to pump. Swapped out linear pressure switch but issue has not resolved. Grey waste pipe feels heavy with water for about a metre or so away from the pump. On drain you hear pump sounds suggesting the pump has not failed. Any thoughts as to what the trouble might be? Thanks.
