Waste pipe won't drain water

Hello,

I have brought a new washing machine for my new build house. 

I have installed it but it's not draining. I believe I have located the problem to the connection under my sink. 

The pump works because when I push the black piece that's inside the waste pipe in when it's draining water squirts out it's just not doing it on the connection I can't hear anything.

Do any of you know how to resolve this ?
