I have a combined Beko WDJ723023W washer dryer. When I use the dryer setting, the drum spins but there is no heat so my clothes stay damp. This used to happen with a previous washer dryer I had and to fix that, I would take off the top and there was a red button I could press that would click. I've opened the top and the back of the Beko, but cannot find any such button. Please could anyone help?

My washing machine has been smelling for quite a while, we've tried the hot cleaning cycle, vinegar, bicarbonate of soda, but the smell of mould always returns despite not finding any mould anywhere. I opened the back though and floor of the machine is totally rusty, it looks like something has been leaking, but I don't know if that would affect the smell coming from inside the drum. Can anyone help at all with the leak issue and possibly also make a connection to the smell?

Hi. For the past few months, my clothes continue to have a foisty smell after washing. Before this happened, I'd hang my washing on the landing and my whole house would smell of clean washing. Now it smells of sewage (maybe exaggerating). The washing machine is only about 3 months old. Things I've tried Washing at higher temp, moved the waste from underneath the sink trap and located above the trap, put the waste pipe in the right position up and over and facing down (as per pic), used washing machine cleaner, tried biological powder instead of non bio, cleaned the filter and hose at the front near the bottom. I really am out o…

Morning all, So my hotpoint washing machine is coming up with the error message F06 after some research I think I have come to the conclusion this is a door lock issue. After taking the thing apart and getting to the door lock I found that it had indeed burnt out and needed replacing after replacing it and the wiring I've tried to use it again the washing machine will start to fill and then stop after 1 minute and the same F06 error appears. On certain programs the washing machine will actually start to spin as well but after a few minutes again it stops and the F06 error message appears with all the lights flashing. Anyone had anything similar or know wh…

Hi everyone, first post so please make allowances! We have a Miele W5740 washing machine which is now 13 years old. It's been fine until a few weeks ago when we heard a loud noise and we noticed that it had moved in its space. We moved it back and ensured that it is properly level. In the past week or so we've noticed that the inside drum is rubbing against the door seal and causing a loud noise under rotation. I cleaned the seal thoroughly and it was fine for a test run but the noise has returned. If I clean the door seal and rotate the drum by hand there is about 3, perhaps 5mm of play in the rotation of the drum and the drum is still circular rather than elli…

My hotpoint washing machine which is several years old, recently started leaking but only during the rinse cycle. The water appeared on the floor immediately below the detergent drawer. Taking out the detergent drawer showed a great deal of black slimy mould around and inside the pipe leading to the drum. I put this down to the use of emulsion based conditioner where the oily residue in the pipe attracts mould bacteria over a long period of use. I cleaned the pipe and dertergent drawer using a bottle brush and some dilute acid. I also needed to clean the filter because of all the crud that I'd dislodged. So far there has been no repeat of the leaking.

Model ECOWMB81445LW (ECO WMB 81445 LW) We've had our beko machine for 4.5 years. No previous problems. Drum is now not turning at all. When I first did the diagnostic I got the code "f 13" however when I do it again it now says "4 17". Hoping that it might be a carbon brush issue I have removed the back and motor however it looks like a sealed unit (no way to access brushes). I attach a photo of the motor (available to purchase for more than I am willing to pay for a replacement part). While dismantling I noticed a slight blockage in the out pipe. I tested the machine again after clearing the blockage but no change. Could this have been the cause of the …

Hi, I’m new to forums but wondered if anyone could provide assistance. I have had a genuine replacement door seal fixed to my whirlpool dreamspace washer, but not sure if fitted correctly, I have used twice since fitting then today got an error A&F message where the washer just stopped, I managed to get this sorted then it showed F11 eventually I sorted this. I took the front middle section off & found some water so now a little worried. I have attached a couple of vids thanks 69481038654__FB723AFF-0A67-4197-9E4E-7B740AF63481.MOV 69481087568__4E6B4E39-E2A9-472A-991B-B3328A54B72B.MOV The black pipe looks fine

Installed the above in June 2021, ( Zanussi ZWF7254B4PW) it has a rotary programme selector switch plus 4 or 5 touch selections for Stop/Start, Temperature, Spin Speed, Delayed Start etc. I have to get a hair dryer and direct hot air onto the panel or a minute or less to get these to respond (every 3 months or so) apart from the Stop/Start which allways works consistently. The machine is in a unheated garage. Is this a common occurance?.

Hi My new washing machine is leaving black streaks on my clothes, and it happened with my last machine too. It is driving me insane! No one could get to the bottom of it so I paid for a washing machine repair guy to come round and he thought it might be the seal deteriorating and the marks may be from the rubber where the clothes are getting caught in the seal. However I clean the seal every time as I’m so paranoid about it. I don’t overload my machine and nothing I put in is that dirty, no greasy clothes etc. I do a service wash at 90 with the powder that Hotpoint recommended to keep my machine clean. I am at my wits end. I have a 3 month old baby and all his w…

Hi all, Happy New Year. I captured a video of the problem with my Miele W1 PowerWash&TwinDos. This happens only during fast turning stage. More importantly, she the fire sparks at 5th second of the video. What do you think the problem might be? I am a handy man, so, I would appreciate if you can guide me to fix this problem. Thank you https://youtu.be/kPXUgvRwSsw

Hi All, I have this sound coming from my Bosch washing machine always on a spin cycle. I have changed the dampers and made no difference. I'm at a lost what is causing this huge racket. The Machine is level. Hoping someone can help. Don't think it's the bearings as during a wash it's fine. On an empty spin cycle no noise either. The weights inside are OK and nothing broken. Thank you for your help VID-20221217-WA0000.mp4

Hi, My Candy Alise washer dryer has stopped spinning. It works fine when empty and have tried with a couple of light dry items and still fine. When I add anything wet and with weight it will not go into spin mode. Does anybody have a clue as to what might be happening. There are no error codes btw.

Hi, I was wondering what would be the main reasons that clothes come out smelly and don't smell like they are washed properly? I tried on 30/40 degrees - same result. Detergent liquid - amway (not cheap). Washing machine AEG 7000 series with auto-dosing. I used to have Zanusi washing machine - was same result. Starting to think it is either water issue or washing liquid that I use. Water is soft as I have a water softener.

Hi, I've tried the troubleshooting guides for common problems, but haven't been able to work out the answer to this. I'm hoping someone here can help. I recently completed a wash in my Samsung Eco Bubble washer only to find both the seal around the door and the clothes themselves covered in small pieces of grey rubber residue. Further examination showed that the rubber door seal had started to disintegrate near the metal rim of the inner drum, about half way up from the bottom of the drum, I'm guessing that maybe something got stuck between drum and seal and friction then caused the seal to wear away. Now I know very little…

I fitted a new rubber door seal (bellows, gasket) and ditched the old mouldy one, it's not an exact replica but the store page said my machine model was supported. The seal fit ok and when I span the drum there was no contact noise or resistance from the seal. After a couple of test washes nothing unusual was noted until towards the very end when the machine spins and drains there is a grazing noise and the seal seems to have expanded under the heat maybe, and now touches the drum on a small portion of the right side. So it's happening once all the water has left the drum and a lack of lubrication is there to ease any slight contact. A few bits of rubber debris is visible…

On all the programs except the 15 min quick wash or rinse/spin the Bosch Exxcel 8 washing machine gets stuck at the end of the wash cycle, the drum just slowly rotates in one direction and then the next continuously. Softener remains in the tray unused and the only way to complete the wash is to switch to one of the other mentioned cycles. Does someone know what might be wrong? edit: I've checked the pump filter and apart from a few collar stiffeners which i've cleared, there was no blockage.

Hi all. My Beko WER860541W is playing up. When I set the cycle and press the START button, it just clicks 5 times (sounds like the door trying to lock), then nothing. Could it be a door lock issue? I looked for suggestions on the web and some said it could be the carbon brushes. I'll upload a video so that you can see what I mean. Many thanks in advance. Beko video.mp4

Hello guys, Just a quick one, my Whirpool WWDC7440 integrated machine brought brand new (approx £350-400? i believe) from AO 7 years ago used approx. once a week for past 7 years has last week decided to go bang with a burning smell just before a final spin on a wash programme - program finished but clothes and drum all had burning / smoky smell. Now no program starts, drain mode etc works, drum moves ok by hand... Called whirlpool - repair £130 - plus 6 months cover on machine for any further issues. or I can get this non-integrated samsung washer dryer for less than £500 (always wanted a dryer - but no space!) - but will not be integrated and will stick …

Hi, I removed the filter plug - it needed a lot of force. A wire ring that the plug seems to fit inside is now broken. Some bits came out. It's in the picture with white bits on it. I could not get the plug to properly fix back in (couldn't get it vertical) and it leaked when I used the machine. This is probably because the wire is in the way. Also should the propeller in the filter spin freely? - it doesn't so I'm worried that there's a further blockage. It does move but not spin freely. Does anyone know if I can put a new wire ring in myself to hopefully enable the plug to fit properly or do I need to get an engineer to look at it? Th…
