Cerys
Hi, I removed the filter plug - it needed a lot of force. A wire ring that the plug seems to fit inside is now broken. Some bits came out. It's in the picture with white bits on it. I could not get the plug to properly fix back in (couldn't get it vertical) and it leaked when I used the machine. This is probably because the wire is in the way. Also should the propeller in the filter spin freely? - it doesn't so I'm worried that there's a further blockage. It does move but not spin freely. Does anyone know if I can put a new wire ring in myself to hopefully enable the plug to fit properly or do I need to get an engineer to look at it? Thanks very much, Cerys

Cerys
Definitely not. The wire pieces were the same as shown in the picture. Do you know if it’s possible to buy this as a spare part and DIY fit it?
Root Admin Whitegoodshelp (Andy) Posted December 20, 2022 Root Admin Report Share Posted December 20, 2022 I've never seen a wire as part of the pump and pump filter. Normally you can buy a pump filter, or a complete pump and housing, and nothing else. Cerys 1 Need a repair or spare parts? Root Admin Whitegoodshelp (Andy) Posted December 20, 2022 Root Admin Report Share Posted December 20, 2022 If you look for your pump on somewhere like Ransom Spares (link in my sig below) you should be able to see the pump and if it comes with all the housing. Cerys
I think you are right - it was from a bra! The way it was wedged in it looked like it was part of the machine. The plug has gone it properly so hopefully it's all good. Thanks for you help and Happy Christmas! Whitegoodshelp (Andy)
