I'm having trouble finding the release clasp of the drum paddle of an indesit iwdc6125. Any ideas of which hole it's under or if it's a different method for this type?

In my quest to get a “silent” wash I’ve replaced 2 of 3 dampers on my Beko (I couldn’t reach the 3rd due to the concrete casing being in the way). The side to side shaking seems to be worse now than it was before I changed the dampers. Could having the machine resting on its front whilst I changed the dampers moved the drum out of position? Anything I can do to correct it? Or am I obsessing over what is normal machine behaviour. I’ve recorded a few videos with the top off to see what you think and whether it’s normal or not. The loads in the machine were half loads https://photos.app.goo.gl/X2d9dM6EEkCNHWcp6 thanks in advance 🙏

Hi I own a Candy gvs148d3/1-80 for around 6 years. It washes, but won't drain and spin. I get the error code E09. It tripped the single switch on the mains. I've checked the drain on the front left. I've also checked the belt. All is well. Could it be a problem with the door switch? Could it be the tachometer?

Have searched FAQs and topics, but found no reference to this problem. Old seal distinctly worn. Slight grey rubber deposits on drum rim If seal removed, drum rotates smoothly. No bearing noise. No distortion of drum opening. Drum lies centrally in tank opening. New seal fitted, then drum dificult to rotate because of friction with seal. Drum seems to be forward of the correct position. Drum edge aligns precisely with edge of tank opening. Any guidance welcome.

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help and identify a problem I am having with my Hisense washer/dryer appliance. Basically it is making a clicking sound when the drum is turning right only. Even when empty it still clicks. I have checked the drum and there is nothing visible that could be stuck e.g. coin or bra wire. Video attached. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks, Dan 8bb0c128-50f9-442a-b95f-337fd402bd9a.mp4

I have a Samsung WW10T534DAN/S1 purchased new, 2 1/2 years ago. It has stopped dispensing softner, but dispenses detergent fine. The washing machine was in storage for a year and spent the winter in a garage. When I got it out of storage and installed it in the house a few months ago the softner and detergent was all congealed. I cleaned the dispenser drawer and both the detergent and softner is released from the valves when they are pressed. I had a known insurance Company send out an engineer and the literally took a photo of the model number and said they need to order a part saying something had failed. This is without even looking at any thing. I've g…

Hi all, I have a Bosch serie 8 machine and I'm fairly sure the bearings are starting to go (noisy spin, slight resistance at points when rotating drum by hand). I bought it refurbished 2 years ago, so no manufacturers warranty. I've been told it's not cost -effective to fix... Is this right? What sort of cost am I looking at? Thanks!

Hi there, we bought a Samsung WW90T554DAW 2.5 months ago. The washing machine machine had been fine with no noise or movement until about 1.5-2 weeks ago. It looks like the drum rocks back and forth during the rinsing part of any programme which then rocks the whole machine back and forth. The washing and spinning cycle seems to be fine. We also noticed some rising on the bottom edges of the machine and on the feet screw nuts but we've never seen water leaking anywhere. We had a support engineer come in earlier this week and he said everything was fine with the machine. He then suggested the culprit was the floor as there's a 1.5cm difference between the where the …

15mm fibre ring or washer and 17mm flanged and ribbed white silicone plug or ring (see photo attached) found in filter of John Lewis JLWM1204, product no.914530560/00. I don't recognise these as having been in a pocket of mine and I cannot find anything similar in a spares list. Could they be parts from the machine itself, which appears to be working normally?

I have a Logik L714WM23 washer. It has developed a weird issue - when the wash starts it is silent, but part way into the cycle it starts clicking, only when the drum is spinning anticlockwise (as seen from the front). At first I thought this was a balancing issue but it does it even when run empty. It seems to be when there is a good amount of water in the drum so it still could be balancing (and therefore a clicking shock absorber? I'm not sure). The click continues into the spin cycle when the drum is full of clothing. It appears to be once per rotation of the drum itself. The machine, other than this appears to be working fine. Does anyone have any i…

My Bosch WVG30461GB has twice in the last month stopped drying clothes, both times I've removed the top cover from the machine and pressed the small switch between the two green connectors in the photo which has reset the machine and solved the problem. I know how to fix it but don't know why the switch (presumably some sort of overheat safety device?) is tripping in the first place, can anyone help?

Hello. So Ive acquired a beko wtl104121w 10kg which is a couple years old. I understand its an inverter motor so no carbon brushes. When it washes with water in, when the motor torques or starts to spin up, it clicks and less so once maintaining speed. But annoying. No click spinning by hand, no clicks in spin cycle or once water drains/drained. Any ideas on a fix? I havent inspected the filter yet only as isnt where the sound comes from. The placement of machine is exposed on the left side. The sound doesnt come from the front but more near the back, id say mid to lower area of machine. I have searched online for a while and little i can find relating to inverter type ma…

I have a brand new Beko WER860541W. We’ve had it for a week. Today it’s developed a ticking sound when the drum turns clockwise that i can only describe as similar to a ticking clock that speeds up and slows down as the drum turns. Oddly when it spins at fast speeds, the sound goes away. Other than the sound it works perfectly. I was just wondering if anyone could hazard a guess at what it could be and if it’s worth getting the engineer out. Thanks.

AEG L87695WD When I programme in a wash, dry or rinse cycle, it goes through the motions for just a few seconds then stops and displays a number 1 in the display. After a few seconds, the “1” changes to “0” and the door unlocks. No proper error code is displayed. Since the fault occurred, it has not gone away, i.e. it's NOT intermittent, so the machine is currently unusable. Any advice on this problem would be much appreciated - thanks in anticipation.

Hi My blomberg lrf285411w is turning ON but the door lock is not happening after physically closing the door. (Door lock icon not appearing in the display unit) I have replaced a door-look module with the same part number, but the issue remains as same. I ve opened the main board but no sign of burn marks or destroyed components is visible. How can I fix this issue? is it an issue of an electronic component in the main board? pls help because I am stuck

Hi, bought the above branded washing machine end of August, up until last month it seemed absolutely fine, my wife washed some heavy onsies and towels one day and from then on the thing feels and sounds like it's going to take off. The actual machine "housing" if you will doesn't move around and if you were deaf it would just look like it's shaking mildly, but the noise coming from the drum is like a a war drummer with no rytham. We've tried underloading, overloading and regular size loads but the only spin it seems to be silent on is an empty drum. Has something warped or rattled loose? Can I upgrade the top springs or shock absorbers? Or is it worth battling with hisens…

Hi there, I have the Beko wdix8543100 washer/dry that isn't drying clothes. I can hear the fan running when in drying mode however there is no heat generated whatsoever. I have tried replacing the entire heating box (which includes the heating element, thermostats etc) but still no joy. Next step, I was thinking of removing the control board, checking for dry joints etc and/or replacing however is there anything else I can or should check first? Just to note, in the wash cycle the water is heating fine, so it's just the dryer heat that isn't working. All thoughts and help appreciated.. Jay P.S. Do service manuals exist anywhere for these models?

Hello, We have a Siemens WDI1440. It's 18 years old. It's making a rattling noise: mostly when the motor is 'cold' (ie in the first hour or so of running a programme) only for about the first second of the drum turning (ie. just as it starts turning) when very cold, it might keep making a faint rattling sound as the drum spins I've record the sound here. The first second is typical, then I opened the detergent drawer and as it was a cold day you can hear the faint rattling sound continue as the drum spins. https://recorder.google.com/1f133ba2-7746-488b-87b0-15915aed2703 We had it repaired 5 years ago and the sound stopped…

As stated, stops partway through program,me sometimes after rinse, sometimes before. Will complete by using separate rinse and spin/drain programmes but sometimes fails to drain the water from spinning so the spin/drain programme has to be run again. As it will fill, empty and pump out this doesn't point to a failed unit (pump/pressure switch/valve/motor). All sections of diagnostic mode complete properly. The only fault code I can get is a fhashing start/pause LED. Any ideas?

Hello all, my washer dryer BEKO WDIY854310F 2018 model doesn't turn on. I've seen great advice on this forum about the failing diodes, so I've removed the PCB and tested the diodes. I was expecting the D7 to be faulty, but it reads .315v and OL in the opposite direction. That made me think the D7 is ok. I've tested all diodes and find out D6 is faulty (.000 readings in both directions). Could you please help me choose the right replacement for the D6? What should I look for? Thank you The number I can see on the D6 is 93 510 I don't have any experience in this field, so this would be my first diode replacement. Hope to sort it out in the end. Many thanks

At the end of a cycle when draining I’m getting this noise which I’m assuming must be the drain pump / motor failing. But before I buy a replacement, I just want to get a second opinion. You can hear it three times in the video thanks in advance, nic

model GFWH2400L0WH I push the start button. The door locks. 25 seconds later there is a little toot, a little clunk, and the door unlocks and the start button starts blinking. Happens on all choices.

Hello everyone, I'm a student renting a house and the washing machine we have stopped spinning. I went to check the filter and it was filled with black sludge everywhere (I've attached a picture of the filter itself but warning it is quite gross). This has probably been there since the last tenants. I'd really like to know if there's anything I can do by myself other than ask my landlord for a replacement because we have other issues to sort as well. If it helps then the model is a Candy Grand O. Thanks!

Hello, I wonder if anyone could offer some advice please. I have a Miele W5872, 12 years old. Last week it stopped working during a cycle, producing fault code F104 "The mains voltage applied to the drive motor is too low". This happened several times in a row - even after turning the machine off for a long time. From researching, I believe this is usually the motor - given the age of the machine, it's understandable. I bought a second hand one from a reputable seller for £50, but unfortunately the error is still occurring. Assuming the replacement motor isn't also faulty, the other possible option is the power supply to the motor. The main board (ELP 266 see photos)…
