DanL Posted February 13, 2025 Posted February 13, 2025 Hi, I wonder if anyone can help and identify a problem I am having with my Hisense washer/dryer appliance. Basically it is making a clicking sound when the drum is turning right only. Even when empty it still clicks. I have checked the drum and there is nothing visible that could be stuck e.g. coin or bra wire. Video attached. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks, Dan 8bb0c128-50f9-442a-b95f-337fd402bd9a.mp4
Root Admin Whitegoodshelp Posted February 13, 2025 Root Admin Posted February 13, 2025 Hi. That's metal on metal. Is there a crack in the drum pulley? Does it make the noise with the belt off and drum spun by hand? Try spinning it from inside the drum at the front, as you will be able to spin it faster like that. Need a repair or spare parts? DanL Posted February 13, 2025 Author Posted February 13, 2025 Hi Andy, Thanks for the response. I don't see any crack in the drum pulley. I have taken the belt off and the clicking noise is still there when spinning the drum by hand from the back, albeit needs to spun quite hard for any noise to appear. When drum is spun by hand on the inside, again it needs to be spun quite hard for the clicking to appear but eventually you can hear it. Thanks Dan
Root Admin Whitegoodshelp Posted February 13, 2025 Root Admin Posted February 13, 2025 Its a weird sound, especially with it ringing like a bell. It still sounds like it's the drum pulley making the noise. I can't think of anything else that would "ring" like that. Need a repair or spare parts? Root Admin Whitegoodshelp Posted February 13, 2025 Root Admin Posted February 13, 2025 Also the noise seems definitely from the back. Need a repair or spare parts?
