Hello. I was wondering if somebody can help. We have a Miele t7944c honeycombe care tumble dryer. All of the settings bar 2 , works for 1 minute and the the display goes to "0" as if the cycle is finished. But is hasn't it's only been on for 1 minute. There are 2 cycles that work and that is the 4 minute cycle for "wool delicates" and that seems to work fine and heat up. The 15 minute cycle sometimes goes for the full 15 minutes but usually doesn't. I have checked all the filters and cleaned them of any fluff removed the rear panel and cleaned there. i have been reading up and maybe it's a sensor? But don't want to be replacing parts if I don'…

Hi All, I have an lg washer dryer f1480rd and the washing drum will be filled up with water if I dont cut the water supply. The machine begins to fill up itself with water as usually, but wont stop entering that. The water level tube from the drum is not dirty and can be blown through. I hope its not the "ECU", the main electronic panel of the machine which has gone wring. Does anybody have any ideas? Thanks in advance Kind regards

My 6 year old Integrated AEG L11842VIT washer dryer has no power or lights on the front. It's installed in a rental property for which I am the landlord. I've checked the usual suspects and have traced 230V power to the main PCB which also holds the rotary switch. I was advised by a local engineer that the door interlock usually causes these symptoms, so I replaced it but still no power or lights. With the old switch, there was open circuit across all 3 connectors, the new switch from e spares has 5 connectors but the plug only fits one way using 3 of the 5 connectors. The new switch has approx 900 ohms across 2 connectors which could be the interlock coil, so I was …

Hi My hotpoint Aquarius Wmf760p washer seems to have developed some timer problems. When we put it on a fast wash the timer starts running down from 43 mins it counts down correctly to 1 min and then continues to wash for a further 20 mins with the timer still registering 1 min remaining, It then enters the rinse cycle and the timer jumps back to 20 mins where it then continues to count down to the end of the rinse and spin cycle. No error code is shown. Any help would be gratefully received. Stephen

Hi I have a Beko WM74165W washing machine. It's about 18 months old so 6 months outside the warranty period. Its has been a great machine these past 18 months, definitely one I would have recommended however at the moment it just turns off after I start a wash cycle. Once started the machine will fill with water to the normal level and will then just completely power off, no lights or power at all. It wont turn back on for a minute or two either, I assume its a safety feature but I'm not sure what the problem is. I managed to get it into test mode. It originally showed E17 with was excessive foaming, this came from the repeated washes we put on before we realise…

We are having issues with this machine leaving the clothes smelling musty or damp. We have also noticed that when using a wool wash the clothes don't seem to be wet when they come out!! We have checked the inlet filter, checked the cold water supply, done service washes, washing is taken out straight away and dried. The machine is over 12 months old but has only been used for about 12 months as we bought it before we were able to fit it into a new utility room. When we tried to register it for warranty all Hotpoint were interested in was how much we paid for it, which we didn't have to hand at the time. Any advice would be appreciated!!

I have a Hotpoint bhwd129/uk/1 which won't drain, it fills, washes but when it comes to draining it attempts to drain for a second, then stops after a short while the lights begin to flash (across the bottom flashing amber lights 1200 600, extra rinse, super wash ,eco wash and start pause, also on the vertical amber lights from the top 2(spin), 3(dry), the door locked red light is also lit ( but I guess this is always lit in operation.) I have checked the filter and hose, also I have changed the drain pump but the problem persists. any help would be appreciated thanks

I replaced the carbon brushes on my bosch washing machine yesterday, and now it won't spin. I think I may have broken off the small metal holding bit that the end of the brush slides into to keep it in place. Is it possible that the washing machine won't spin because it thinks that the brush isn't in place properly? How can I resolve this? Should I solder it on to keep it in place? (duc tape didn't work) or can I buy the holder as a spare part? Thanks!

Hello I have a strange problem that I don't understand and neither did my local washer repair guy. When a wash is on the washer fumigates the whole house with soapy salty toxic taste/ smell! I think we had sewer problem at the last house but I'm not sure if the dishwasher and the washer were the culprits. When I moved home recently I brought with me a house full of saturated belongings which have a hefty salt residue all over them it's been a nightmare as it causes a mist to hang in the air when it's disturbed! It's crazy and I don't know where all this salt has come from. As there was also a smell of sulphur sometimes and I connected this to the drains…

For some reason my machine has stopped working, it is stuck on 0.01 and I can't change the cycle or do anything. I last used it on Tuesday and remember it had accidentally gone on to the drying cycle. I think I turned it off and waited for the door to open. When I tried to use it it was stuck on 28 minutes. I let it dry empty but now it's stuck on 0.01. Does anyone have any advice to proffer?
