Hello! Several months ago, I explained that I had problems with the timer on my Candy CNE 28T on this forum. I understood from the response that replacing the timer was fairly straightforward. I managed eventually to replace the timer, which is fine. However, I'm stuck with two problems. 1. There are buttons in the front of the machine that open the door and turn on the machine. The door opening device appears to be purely mechanical. I can't work out how to fit the button device to the arm that opens/closes the door. This is a picture of the buttons from the front. This is a picture of the button mechanism from the top. For the life of …

Hi everyone, I have tried a few things, powering off etc to fix this to no avail. It’s 3yrs old. I can run a wash cycle no trouble, sometime after F06 will show and the buttons flash, only way to stop this is to power off. If you don’t power off it will then randomly try to drain by running the pump - which is a bit worrying... The door lock light is also permanently lit. Any ideas? Thank you

Hello all. I've got a Hoover Washer Dryer Dynamic Next (bh4117ai2/2) with a leaking issue. From what I can see it's not the drain. What happens is you put a wash on and as soon as water starts to fill in the detergent drawer a puddle appears on the floor. It's not a little bit of water either it's ALOT. Any suggestions?

Hi there I've had a problem with my washer it wouldn't drain and there would be a pool of water left in the drum. I've been googling my problem and was directed to change the carbon brushes , but I've stripped it down and the brushes are worn down but not really bad I've added some pics . So my next thought is the pump so I have ordered this part from you , I've ran the test on the machine where you hold start before turning on and it spins and it fills and spins the other way but I press start again and I'm asuming that the next test was drain but it did nothing. If I start the machine on drain mode 2:00 comes up with the play icon but it does nothing so this mu…

Hi All, I have a LG Steam washing machine which is about 10 years old. It's served me well throughout the years but recently, it's developed a couple of faults. Every so often, a small amount of water will leak out of the washing machine. During the rinse cycle, the washing machine will make a tremendous racket - it sounds as if the drum is empty bar a few bouncy balls inside. Gently placing my hand on top of the washing machine doesn't make me feel like there's too much side to side movement. I tried spinning the drum when empty by hand and the noise I described was absent. Any ideas? Many thanks. LGwm.mpg

Hi Guys problem with this washer - it’s empty, drained nothing is blocking the pump but when connected to power near enough all the lights on the front are lit and it’s doing a lot of beeping. its not looking good - moving the selector isn’t making any difference, pressing and holding buttons like start/pause make the beeping tone change. any ideas greatly appreciated

Hi.. my first post My Beko washing machine has developed a fault, when I put it on a cotton wash it fills with water to nearly half a drum then does nothing for a minute or so then it will pump out a small amount of water then it will do the same again over and over. When I put it on a rinse spin and drain cycle it does the same. When I end the programme the machine pumps out all the water no problem. I changed the carbon brushes on the motor but still no luck so I pulled the pcb out to check for any burnt out components, there were a number of areas showing signs of being burnt but cannot tell which part actually burnt out if at all. Please see the attached phot…

Hi i have a hoover washing machine only a year and a bit old. It has recently started showing the e03 error. If i open the valve only water comes out no gunk can be found inside. If i open the door and scoop out as much water as possible, then the drain cycle completes. If there is a decent amount of water it won't. Please help

I have a zanussi that isn’t draining fully. I tried to clean the filter but I cannot get it out. A cap comes off but do I need some sort of jig to get the filter out? Or what am I missing?

Hi folks. I have a nice clean secondhand Bosch WFL1662 front-loading washing machine. During spin, and occasionally during wash rotation, there is a knocking noise inside. I have removed the top of the machine and rocked the tub front-to-back on its springs, first on the right and then on the left side. There is knock/clack always on the right side, rarely on the left. It does not vary depending on rotation of the inner drum. Also, when rotating the drum slowly, there is a squeak. Otherwise, it's all working fine. I have uploaded three videos describing this to the WeTransfer sharing site, links below. I would appreciate suggestio…

I have a hotpoint Aqualtis AQ113D607(E) washing machine, purchased in 2012. The manufacture date is August 2011. Fault: It stops 30% of the time with 1 minute remaining on the wash timer. If left unattended it can sit on 1 minute forever, (longest we left it was overnight), continuing to turn the clothes over. Workaround: The workaround is to pause the wash, turn the dial to rinse, and resume the wash. The rinse takes 45 minutes but completes every time. The machine stopped working completely a few months ago, which was due to a split in the ribbon cable from the door controls. While waiting for a replacement door to arrive, I purchased a second hand mach…

hi i'm having problems with my washer dryer, the code E10 keeps appearing when i'm trying to dry clothes, however the manual says that this code refers to 'the appliance does not fill with water'. the unit however will fill with water during a normal wash cycle, and complete the cycle with no problems. the error only happens when drying . i have recently cleaned the outlet hose and the filter as we were getting another error code, E20, 'the appliance does not drain the water'. the hose was very clogged, this was the first time we've cleaned it since it was installed in 2013. i also ran a wash cycle with a deep cleaner at 95 degrees. any …

Hello! I have a Hotpoint HE8L493 works fine but after I dropped my phone beside it (how fate makes us find things out eh) then ran my hand on the left bottom leg of my washer and I felt a bit of wetness/moisture and I wiped it with a tissue. I just finished a cycle of wash then and after that, I tried loading another cycle and I placed a tissue beneath it. After the cycle I had a look at the tissue. It isn't enough to soak it fully nor partially but there are some wetness on it. I don't know if it is condensation or a leak? It's too small I think to be considered major leak or even felt as it doesnt even drop a water to the floor. You literally need to "press"…

I noticed the other day my drum appeared to be warped, like it had a flat spot. You could see the wobble in relation to the door seal and when it was spinning it would make the machine shake. I couldn't move the drum (which I read was a little test to see if the bearings were shot). Anyway, yesterday we were disturbed by very loud and disturbing noises from the machine as it vibrated, pulsated, on...off...on...off...getting slowly worse. I hesitated to get too close in case the door shattered, but managed to get close enough to turn it off. When I opened the door and started to pull my washing out I burnt my arm on the edge of the drum! It had rubbed against the…

I have a Zanussi Jet Stream 1400 7KG and I am having a drain error. I want to clean the filter however I can not remove it and think that the two parts in the photo attached should be stuck together and unscrew together. Can you please confirm and suggest a solution. Many thanks

New to forum, new washer. Our old 9XL Beko gave good service so in haste have bought a smaller (reduced need) machine without a lot of research. But this machine is squeaky when the drum begins to turn and I think the drum feels quite stiff to turn. Might this loosen up with time or should we consider returning the machine? The machine is on a level surface, has neither been over-loaded nor under-loaded. Can you give any advice please? Many thanks in anticipation, H

Hello gang - My Indesit washing machine WIL105 will stop during the middle of normal washing, I get the following lights flashing (see photo): Green Timer and green Iron LED's flashing along with the red door LED flashing...regardless of what mode I have selected, be it normal wash or during spin only, etc....After powering down (OFF) I can then again initiate another wash cycle...doesn't do it all the time but starting to be a nuisance. Any ideas? Thank you Gunny

Hi folks, I have a Daewoo DWDHB141KK. The dampers failed around the 2 year mark and I managed to get spares after several weeks of tring to track down compatible parts. Now the bearings seem to be on the way out (It's 3 years, 3 months old) and the machine itself isn't even listed on any spares sites. Apparently it's been withdrawn from Daewoo support or something. Anyone know if there is an internally equivalent model? Do I have any rights to a replacement model etc? Thanks!

Hello everyone, I was hoping someone could help me. I have a LG WM14311FD washing machine. It's rather old (2006) but it only gets used in the summer because we have been living in Qatar for the last ten years. I recently got an error code OE and it was making a grinding noise + not draining/spinning so I opened it up and the drain pump impeller had come off. I replaced it after looking at some videos but now when it gets to drain it stops and doesn't do anything, although the time left goes down. Also, I am not getting an error code this time. I reopened it and checked everything but could find anything wrong. What could be problem? Thanks in advance.

I have a miele w1512 that has started leaking from the bottom left hand corner under under where the drain filter door is located, it appears to be running from underneath directly underneath, to start with after a couple washes it was just a small amount but appears to getting more and more after each wash and is now leaking from the dispensing drawer too. No error codes have been shown and other than the leak it has been a perfect machine and always worked normally (fills, drains, takes in powder etc), although the leak is so bad you cannot leave it turned on for more than a few seconds! FYI: the drain outlet doesn't appear to be blocked and the hoses at the back of t…

I have a CDA CI925 which has caused nothing but problems since day 1. Up until now it has been under warranty however it is now 2 years old and so is out of warranty. I’m just trying to establish whether the latest issue is even worth trying to fix, or whether I cut my losses and get a new machine. the machine has started to make a noise that sounds like a old kettle on the stove that is whistling. This is the best way to deprive it. It happens towards the start of the cycle but is happening irrespective of whether the drum is moving or not so can’t be bearings or anything. It also doesn’t seem to be related to water entering the machine. ive searche…
