JustSomeGeek Posted September 22, 2018 Posted September 22, 2018 Hi folks, I have a Daewoo DWDHB141KK. The dampers failed around the 2 year mark and I managed to get spares after several weeks of tring to track down compatible parts. Now the bearings seem to be on the way out (It's 3 years, 3 months old) and the machine itself isn't even listed on any spares sites. Apparently it's been withdrawn from Daewoo support or something. Anyone know if there is an internally equivalent model? Do I have any rights to a replacement model etc? Thanks!
Root Admin Whitegoodshelp Posted September 22, 2018 Root Admin Posted September 22, 2018 If parts are no longer available after just 3 years I would think you can claim under the Consumer Rights Act that it hasn’t lasted a reasonable time. I would try to get advyfrom a consumer group like Citizens Advice. Need a repair or spare parts? Book a Repair | Spares4Appliances WARNING: Read this before attempting any diy repairs. JustSomeGeek Posted September 23, 2018 Author Posted September 23, 2018 Thanks Andy. It was already non-existent before it was 2 years old. I'll get some advice. Whitegoodshelp 1
