Hotpoint F06, randomly draining too

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

I have tried a few things, powering off etc to fix this to no avail. It’s 3yrs old.

I can run a wash cycle no trouble, sometime after F06 will show and the buttons flash, only way to stop this is to power off. If you don’t power off it will then randomly try to drain by running  the pump - which is a bit worrying...

The door lock light is also permanently lit.

Any ideas? Thank you

The only Hotpoint error codes I have that uses F06 are the EVO2 software machines but they are some years old now. It refers to pressure system faults. Possible jammed pressure switch or blocked pressure system. However I don't know if it is applicable to your model.
