Hello there everyone, I hope that you can help me with a problem! Two days ago my Beko washing machine was doing a normal washing cycle while outside was raining with some thunders and lightnings. All of a sudden (two seconds after a thunder sound) I've heard a strong zap followed by a bang (very short timing) coming from the washing machine (strangely, the main circuit breaker of the house didn't go off) and when I went to see what happened I've found that the washing machine was, and still is. completely dead. The main panel doesn't turn on and the washer is completely unresponsive to any button I press. 3 or so minutes after the washer died the door lock clicked and …

Tried asking it on another site, to no avail. Also went through the FAQ. Does not seem to resemble anything mentioned there. Ardo A633 (front load, mechanical controls) drains and refills normally during the run but often (not always!) forgets to do the final drain when it's done, ending up with the drum half full of clean water. Sometimes it remembers to drain when I re-run the rinse cycle, sometimes I have to wait for the next day to do it. No system whatsoever. Of course, the "no drain" button is not pressed. I don't think the problem is either mechanical or electrical - draining works almost always, just not when it's most important. I'd say it is a control …

Can someone help - Our washing machine has no power, It was doing a cycle and turned off, no lights are on at all even after turning on and off multiple times. It is not the wall socket as I have tested it and it is not the fuse in the plug as I have swapped it over with another that was deffinatly working. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. Kind regards

Hi there, I have a Panasonic Washing Machine, model NA-140VS4 and it keeps tripping the RCD and comes up with error code H53 which is - Too low voltage input detected - Check mains electricity supply as this is caused by abnormal mains. Have tried it in a different socket and also replaced the fuse so not sure what else it could be? Any ideas? Panasonic want £60 just to take a look at it. It's just over 5 years old and warranty expired. Already had new drum and door so wondering if to just get a new machine although rather fix it if I can.

I would like to check the carbon brushes but having removed the top and looked at the machine the housing seems to be in two parts with no easy access to the motor. Can you advise how to remove the back part of the housing on this machine so that I can access the motor?

Hi! I have a 6 month old Siemens washer+dryer. Model; WD14U5E1DN. When I run the drying program, the machine starts the program, and runs for about 35 minutes. The machine then stops and the display shows the timer with the same "time left" as when the program was started, but the timer doesnt move, nor does the machine. I then have to turn the machine off and back on the get the door opened. The display shows the same info when its stopped as it does when its working. The temperature in the chamber isnt really hot nor cold, so the 35 minutes doesnt dry the clothes even if i run the program several times. The machine doesnt give any error messages either, …

Beko washer/dryer WDR 7543121W product code 7161541500 does not dry. The element that fits in the bottom of the drum has been replaced but this only heats the water during the wash cycle. Is there another element for the drying cycle? If so, where is it located on the machine? Or could there be another cause? Any help you are able to give will be gratefully appreciated.

Hi, I have a Miele W1514, about 10 years old. I've had waterproof fault, and can see that the cause is a leak from around a hose that enters the top of the drum (right in the centre, connecting back to the detergent draw area). The hose doesn't appear to be split/damaged, but during the cycle some water is oozing out from around the joint between the rubber and the drum. Not a lot, but enough that after several washes the fault occurs. I can see replacement hoses are available (eg. https://www.4washerhelp.co.uk/washing-machine/miele/concertina-hose/product.pl?pid=3231901), but I'm not clear how it is fitted - is it just a simple case of pulling out/pushed b…

My (newly bought) Samsung Eco Bubble washing machine (model WW80J5456FX) makes an unusual sound - like a soft engine rumbling, chugging or clicking inside - in the initial stage(s) of washing, when the water if being heated up. It is not a particularly loud noise, but it is slightly unsettling, especially as the sound is made even when the drum is NOT rotating. So this engine-like chugging coming from inside the machine is heard even when the machine is perfectly still, while the water inside is being heated. Has anyone else encountered that? The sound in itself is not bothering me, but I would like to be reassured that this is not a defect or a flaw of the machine. (An…

HI, Just a quick one... My Beko has developed the E18 fault. I Only realised when I came to put next wash on and it would not start. So it must have finished it's last cycle. Followed all the advice of cleaning filter, pipes etc.. and all looks clear. Have done the factory reset, but the machine refuses to go through the test cycle, just shows the E18 error on the display. Is there a way to reset the fault or Is this more serious than just clearing filters, pipes... Regards Andy

The belt of my old Indesit W93 UK keeps slipping off. I read your article about this subject and on further inspection I noticed that the drum spider pulley is extremely tight against the drum at the top and about an inch away from the drum at the bottom. The bolt in the middle of the 'spider' appears to be tight (only by touching but haven't got a large enough socket to fit on the bolt to check properly). When I put the belt on and turn the drum the edge of the belt gets squashed tight onto the drum at the top and then slips off going behind the pulley. Should the pulley be parallel to the drum all the way around? Does the pulley need replacing? It doesn't look bent at a…

Hi bit of a strange one I’ve noticed the washing machine (Bosch WAQ22461GB) adds 45 minutes to the cycle normally right at the end at around spin time (it occasionally happens at other times). The only solution is to stop that cycle and do a spin only cycle which works as expected. From comments on here I can see a heat element issue, the door gets nice and warm at 90 but does not really change temp at 30, so is this a heating issue or a dreaded PCB issue?

Hi there I’m new to this forum and hope someone can help me, I have a Bosch classixx 7 vario perfect WAE24369GB/40 washing machine which has stopped completing its wash cycle no matter what cycle I select. It’s displaying a symbol on the screen which relates to too much foam so I think it just tries to continue until the foam clears even though there is no foam in the washer. I have rinsed it multiple times and used white vinegar in the wash plus softener even though there isn’t any sign of any foam, could it be that the foam sensor has malfunctioned? I can’t find any articles or parts for this so would be grateful if someone could shed a bit of light on my problem.…

|As the water runs into the machine it continues straight out from a hose at the bottom left, next to the drain filter. We have temporarily blocked the hose and now it works well. What is the cause of this "fault"
