Fabric conditioner drains straight in to drum

I am using a hoover lindor washing machine and every time I use it the fabric conditioner immediately just drains in to the drum meaning the conditioner is rinsed straight away as soon as the first rinse is completed leaving the washing not softened nor smelling nicely can someone help ?

Hi. If the fabric softener is take out too soon I can’t think of any other explanation than what is in the article.
