I have replaced what looked like a burnt out DOOR LOCK INTERLOCK SWITCH 1604781 and also the loom of wires to be sure as they were burnt out too. Still get the door lock light flashing like nothing has changed. Do I need to reset the whole thing and if so, how do I do this? Current issue is that it appears to not be recognising that the door is locked/door lock light flashes and beeps and won't start the cycle Any help would be very much appreciated Thanks

I have a brand new WDD 030 washing machine. The only issue is that when the water drains, there is an unpleasant "knocking" or "gurgling" sound that seems to come from behind the dispenser drawer. The Miele agent stripped down the machine and has taken a video of the issue to discuss with Miele. Could this be a problem with the pump? If so, would a new pump be any better?

I Recently had my drive belt slip off on my Candy CMD146 Washer-Dryer which i managed to refit without much trouble, then two days later the belt was split in two right round the whole circumference of the belt. I have now purchased a new belt which fits perfectly (Not too tight, not more than a quarter inch play in the belt where it isnt connected to the motor or drum), however it slips off the drum wheel towards the drum after only 2-3 revolutions by hand! this is getting very frustrating as i can see no reason for this to be happening and Myself and my girlfriend are running out of clean clothes! Any advice would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance Neil D P…

Hello, Does anyone have any knowledge as to what error code E80 refers to on the above model washing machine? It is not listed in the booklet I have; prior to this being displayed the washing machine had, on a couple of occasions, failed to spin correctly with the items still be soaked at the end of the cycle, but it had then gone on to be fine again for a few months. Thanks

My bosch series 2 washer trips after about 15 seconds of filling with water but when I run a spin cycle to empty the water it works fine. (I had a problem with it not pumping out the water but that was because of some plastic stuck in one of the pipes). I am thinking heating element?

Hi all, My Indesit IWDD7143 washer dryer has developed a rather peculiar issue where the drying part of the Express Wash & Dry cycle fails about two or three minutes in with an F13 error. I have replaced the NTC sensor in the heater assembly, and also cleaned the fan as it had quite a bit of fluff build up. Running a dry-only cycle or drying after any other programme works with no problems at all. I'm out of ideas on this one, hope someone can help! Cheers, Fraser

Hi, I looked into the common problems, but I didn't see this one there, maybe I missed it. My washing machine, a Hoover Dynamic Next, only starts when I select certain programs. Otherwise nothing happens when I press the start button after setting the program the dial. Also the dial sometimes selects a program different to the one displayed on the diagram. Do you think it's the dial? Or is it the PCB? Thanks

Have gone through nearly everything with this problem, there was all flashing lights on machine (no LCD display) checked pump line for objects, checked motor carbon brushes (not worn), checked module board, no scorch marks and capacitor is not bulging (faulty), checked pressure switch. Put water in the drum and set to cycle, pumps out water and then nothing, no lights flashing, just nothing. If you can let me know if this problem is fixable or I will just buy a new machine, thanks.

I've gone through the guide but I didn't find anything that really matched the issue that I'm having. I've got a Waltham WTLS75WAV14 washer dryer. Whenever I use it it stops mid cycle. It will fill with water, get soapy, and slosh things around. However at some point it will go from saying that there is still X minutes left to just saying that it's finished. No error codes etc. It doesn't get as far as spin, and I think doesn't rinse either. If I put it directly on spin then it will spin no problem, the same for rinse, or dry. So each function works correctly, but it won't move through the full sequence. However there is one function, "easy maintenance" (it's …

I’ve had my zanussi machine for about 5 years and normally when the softener doesn’t go down like everyone else I give the drawer a thorough clean but this model has a plastic cover over the small holes where the water comes from, you can’t remove the cover so I’m guessing it has got to the point where it is bunged up, this plastic cover seems to be what is stopping me cleaning it but we’ve taken the top off the machine and it covers some electrics in the top of the machine and has lots of screws to hold it down, I just wondered if anyone has any tips as I’ve tried ever way to try and remove the lovely black Cloggy stuff. Thanks

Anyone have any ideas what’s causing this noise? Doesn’t seem like usual failed bearing noise. I’ve attached audio file - first few minutes of an independent spin cycle - noise starts at one minute in - drum does the usual slow revs at start Thanks Audio_06_09_2019_16_04_35.mp3

My washing machine has not been working correctly for some time. I was told it could be the heating element, because I put it on a long 1.46 wash, it stopped somewhere along the cycle, and I had to open the filter hatch to pull a thing down to open the door. I couldn't get it to switch on so it had a display showing on the timer. Then after a while it got going again, but I was scared it would go wrong again, so I put it only on 15 minute washes. However, it would do the wash perfectly, keep on displaying 1 minute for ages without saying End. So I switched it to rinse and spin, and the washing comes out clean. Then when I turn the dial around to off when I have finished u…

I've got a Hoover DHL14102D3 washing machine that is 14 months old. In the last week, the spin cycle has been getting noticeably noisier. Last night it sounded like there was a banging noise so I went down to the to utility room to find the machine had moved forwards about 2 or 3 feet. Also, there are now a number of dents on the washing machine case (front and side) that look like something has been rattling around inside at high speed trying to get out (see pictures). Naturally, I'm angry that this has happened in such a short space of time so I need to find out what may have caused this, and is it a cost effective repair? I've done a forum search and found some …

Hi, I have a hotpoint WMJLL742 washing machine. It’s 2 years old but sounds like the bearings need replacing. I’m happy to do this myself but I can’t find bearings for this model anywhere. Before I take it apart I was wondering if anyone could tell me whether the bearings are replaceable or whether this model is one of those ‘welded drum’ types where they need the entire drum replacing as bearings are encased inside and you can’t get to them. Can anyone help me? Thanks, Phil.

hi, i've just took my washing machine apart, recently a few times smoke and burnt smell came out of it especially after spinning, and yesterday i also heard knocking loud noise from it at spinning cycle so i just turned it off, it was a 60*C program i couldn't think it should steam that much and the burning smell again. so this morning i run test program everything works electronic wise, but as i spin the drum by hand at some point it feels like something in between the drum and the drum housing. pulley at the rear seems solid no play motor's shaft has no play and belt looks fine. i took of the door seal because the whole drum floating it was hard to feel anything, but no…

I'm stuck and as a family of 6 am lost without my machine so need to get fixed asap , as dont want to use incase causes and further damage . Any ideas on what the cause could be ?

Hi There, Our washing machine over the last few months has developed a noise - it sounds like it's the pump but before I pull it apart, are you able to help diagnose this properly from the video? Many Thanks, Gareth https://youtu.be/8Gxwnnfa3ew

The display on my Neff Washing machine continuously shows this animation. Any clue what it means? It starts this as soon as I power it on and turn the dial to any program. It never ends. I've left it on for over a day, and it still goes on like this. I've also tried to leave the machine unplugged for a a couple of days, and tried again. Same result.

All of a sudden the machine has stopped working, there's been no bang, no smoke, no issues up until now. We loaded up the washer closed the door and selected a washing cycle but the flashing light showing that the door is open continues to flash whereas it would normally stop flashing after a few seconds, stay solidly on and start the cycle. The counter begins to count down as if the cycle has begun but the door lock symbol continues to flash and the door remains unlocked. We have tried every washing cycle option as well as the dryer cycles and we have the same problem regardless. I've unplugged everything and taken the top off the washer and I can't see any noticea…
