mediafriendly
I have a brand new WDD 030 washing machine. The only issue is that when the water drains, there is an unpleasant "knocking" or "gurgling" sound that seems to come from behind the dispenser drawer. The Miele agent stripped down the machine and has taken a video of the issue to discuss with Miele. Could this be a problem with the pump? If so, would a new pump be any better? Root Admin Whitegoodshelp (Andy) Posted June 27, 2019 Root Admin Report Share Posted June 27, 2019 It could just be normal sounds of the washing machine, but if an engineer thinks it needs investigating further then maybe there is a problem. It is highly unusual for a brand-new Miele washing machine to be noisy though. If the main pump was causing a noise the sound would not be expected to be in the area you describe. If there is a circulation pump though, which runs on wash and rinses to recycle water back into the drum then that could possibly account for the noise. But unfortunately without hearing any noise it is not possible to work out what is causing it. Need a repair or spare parts?
