Hello, This machine performs all the washing programs with boiling water, even when washed with cold water. Only in the rinsing program do you use cold water. I checked the NTC probe which is working properly. I have inspected the card redoing welds and cleaning some contacts, but the defect remains. The mechanical switch of the program change is a little slow. I thank anyone who can help me, otherwise the wiring diagram of the board could help me too. Hello.

I have a bosch Vario Perfect waq284d0gb, it has been working perfectly for about four years but has now started tripping the mains RCD. It doesn't trip as soon as it is plugged in but when the programmer is moved it trips immediately. At first I thought it was the mains filter so i replaced that. It worked perfectly for two days but now it is back to tripping the mains RCD again. The wiring looks in really good condition, no signs of water ingress, leaks or corrosion. I have tried plugging it into a different socket (& RCD) but i still have the same issue. I am thinking that it could be the encoder or a short on one of the boards. I am assuming that the water valve/pu…

Hi guys I just signed up to the forum as my washing machine has stopped working. The machine is a samsung ww80k5410ux front load washer which I have had for 3 years. The issue is when I try to start a cycle the lock on the add wash door starts making a clicking sound. After about 6 clicks it starts up with the normal noise then just stops after about 10 seconds and starts flashing the red door lock key symbol. I have replaced the main door lock but it didnt help. I have taken out the motherboard to have a look and it looks as though one of the capacitors has melted the silicone cover around the circuit board but it doesnt look blown or raised. Is this normal ?…

Please please help. My laundry is coming out with horrible liquid type stains that won't come out and some of our clothes are being ruined. We thought it was an issue with the certain type of liquitabs we were using but we have recently changed to another brand and still having the same problems. On a full load it might only be on one garment so completely random. It isn't affecting every piece of laundry I put in. Please click on link below for photo of latest piece of ruined laundry. https://ibb.co/HrzDwLn Is there a "fix at home" solution and if not, would it be a pricey job for a professional. Thanks. Debi

I have a Washing Machine which is saying EF0 I have found the reason, I have mice which have eaten the polystyrene float and made a nest there with other stuff, when I cleared the other stuff the EF0 went off until I tried to put the machine back in to its place. Where would I get a replacement float (or how could I make one) and how do I un-trip the flood protection switch (it is all bone dry so that is not a problem) I have a John Lewis JLWM1413 Washing Machine

Have a Bosch Classix 1400 express in storage which seems to work on wash cycle, but once it reaches the spin cycle it never gets above the lowest revolution, then stops and restarts trying to spin.I have recently been told it could need resetting after going into unbalanced mode. There is a way to reset these by following a set sequence of turning knobs and pressing buttons, but i cant find any information anywhere.Even when empty the thing will not speed up on spin.Took the top off to watch for any telltale signs during this anomaly. The only thing i noticed was one of the relays woukd flash just before the machine stopped turning...only to start through the spin seque…

Hi, Any assistance gratefully received. Brand new Beko WTG841B1W washing machine delivered today. It has power and water supply but simply will not start in any program. When I press the start button the wash light illuminates but then starts flashing after a few seconds and nothing more happens. The door lock seems to be working as I hear a click but not entirely convinced. Any thoughts or advice before I contact the supplier and request a replacement? I simply unplumbed the old machine and plumbed the new one in, nothing done any different. It is hardwired into a wall socket. Many thanks Simon

For reasons beyond this post's topic I unboxed my machine (Beko WTG620M1W 6kg 1200rpm Freestanding Washing Machine) after the return period expired and it had a defect in the back (see attached pictures). It's basically a long split in the bottom part of the back. My question is: could this affect the machine's long term function or life expectancy somehow?

Hello, im hoping someone can help me. I have recently purchased a new beko washing machine, after a week of use i thought it was faulty and after an engineer visit it was replaced by currys. My new (replacement) washer is now making an awful noise on every cycle. I have attached a video for you to see. Im sure this cannot be the noise it is meant to make? Can anyone please help me thanks F0F37D25-0438-40A5-82E8-31A3BAEEAD86.MOV

Hi, this is my first post on this site and I hope that someone will be able to help me solve a problem on a Zanussi washing machine. I have read loads of messages from others on this site and cannot find anything that is similar. My father-in-law, who owns the washing machine and has said it has been working very well up to the other day, said he loaded the machine, pressed the on/off button, the 'End' LED immediately started flashing green continuously and nothing happened when he pressed the start button. I have managed, by pressing different buttons (?), to get the LEDs (green) on the control panel to light up individually and to cycle round lighting up one after the …

Have had the above machine for many years, new drum bearings and motor brushes done a few years ago. Never had any issues with the machine, just done the above as a matter of routine due to age. Recently, if starting a 2nd wash straight after the first finishes the machine appears to start correctly, Wash light on, Drain pump runs but instead of the drain pump stopping and the machine filling with water the wash light goes off and the Drain light comes on, extended drain cycle performed and machine stops. E30 displays. Leaving the machine for a while it starts and works ok, sometimes it will do a 2nd wash without failing. I suspected the pressure swit…

Hi, I have just replaced very worn brushes on motor, when I refitted belt I have now a noise - when belt not on no noise - when I turn the spindle( that belt goes round) without belt on no noise in anti clockwise direction , ratchet sound clockwise. Belt has no sign of wear - machine worked quietly until this point. Belt is a snug fit when I stretch belt and rotate spindle noise goes. Any ideas? Spindle listed on diagram but not in partnumbers. Drum bearing okay. Any ideas?

Miele W961 Filter Empty Faucet from Hose Filter Keeps running after cleaning the filter, when filling the machine I cleaned the filter on my perfectly running (up to now) old Miele and when I started a normal, short cleaning cycle, the faucet on the hose behind the cleaning filter door on lower left side of the machine kept running as fast as the water entering the machine. I re-opened and resealed the filter, but same problem continues. I read all trouble shooting notes here, but nothing about this type of leak from the filter drain hose. Please help, I really appreciate this machine.

My Wife did a wash last night and when she came down she found the machine with all the lights flashing, I checked the filter and found the pump had a plastic label in it and some grey crude I removed the plastic and cleaned the crude, the machine fill file and the drum turns but I think when it tries to pump the water out I just hear humming noise, could it mean that the drain pump needs replacing?

Hi I have an AEG 78160 that is used by a number of my tenants. It is showing error code E20 when I switch it on. I cannot find any debris or kinks in the tube and the drain motor impeller spins freely. Is it likely to be the drain motor or the control board that has gone please? Is there a way to determine the problem? Can I hook the motor up to 240v and check that it spins and conclude that it is a control board problem if it does? thanks hairgoneJohn

Hi all. Probably a dumb question ... I have a hotpoint washing machine Its about 8 years old . Dont want to get rid of it however might be best option as more economical..... Model aqxgd169pm. 5 years old had the drum changed . Now its developed a fault where by on spin cycle with clothes in the machine it sounds like there are bricks bouncing around inside the drum. But it doesnt do it with no clothes in the machine. So i thought it was the motor, so i changed the motor and drive belt. It was ok for a couple of weeks and now its started doing the same noise. So i suspect its either a faulty motor doubtfull, the wr…

Please help! The wash has finished, the water is pretty much gone, but the door won’t open! The handle is on the outside and is a bit loose so defo think it’s the handle/mechanism inside. My housemate is away at the moment and want to try and fix it! I tried waiting to open once everything has been off for a while, putting another cycle on and repeating this, pushing it and then trying to open, and slotting a card between the door and machine. Really don’t want to make it worse! Seen on YouTube someone putting string all the way through between the door and machine, would that be worth a try with this handle? I defo don’t trust myself opening the top of machin…
