Many many thanks if you can point me in the right direction : My Indesit WI10 has stopped functioning. If I leave it in the on position (with no lights lit) it will start the cycle randomly after a couple of hours. Sometimes completing the cycle successfully. Alternatively if I hit the side of the machine the "on" light comes on, and sometimes stays on (the machine then works) and sometimes goes off again (the machine then not working). Help !!!

Hotpoint WMEF 742 Fills no problem. Loads of pressure going into back, loads of water filling into washing powder door (so 2 little solenoids on inlet are ok I presume). I put a new drain pump in it last year. I cleared exhaust pipe. After 12 minutes on a 1hr 44 min cycle the H20 error appears and beeps constant. I can hear a pump spinning non stop but it just sits, doesn't fill or doesn't exhaust. If I hit pause, it allows door to open (no water in drum). When I press start again, it fills a little, empties a little then goes back to just a pump spinning and a H20 error. Just put it on a spin and drain cycle and it done it no problem. Trying a rinse cycle …

Bosch Front Loader WFL2480AU/04 Maxx Tried searching to no avail - nothing similar posted on forum. Motor only does 1 or 2 turns at the start of any cycle (wash, rinse or spin) and then just stops turning! An old machine (bought new in 2000), but a good one and so reliable (like a member of the family - I'm attached to it!! ) Changed brushes twice since 2000 - that's it up until now! Machine was noisy (like bearings on the way out) when on spin. Checked the tub - all good, no play whatsoever. Before I got the chance to check the motor it was washing a load and then the motor seized up - couldn't turn! Found small pieces of metal und…

The handle from the washing machine broke. In order to replace it I need to disassemble de door. The problem is that the 2 parts of the door don't have any screws. They are hold in place by plastic clips(I am assuming this...). Can someone tell me the procedure to disassemble it? I really don't want to force it and break the clips. The model is: BEKO WKY71033PTLYB3 I added also a picture of the door. Thank you in advance.

I have a Samsung ww80j5555ew/eu that won't start any cycle. Lights up as usual but pressing start just gets the cycle light flashing. Child lock is off and error code scan brings up all clear. I don't hear the door lock so assumed it was that, replaced part and still the same. Drain filter is cleaned regularly although I did have to drain it when it stopped halfway through its last wash Drive belt is still attached, motor brushes are fine. Drum spins freely. At a bit of a loss now, for a machine that has just gone a month outside of its 2 year warranty I'm not impressed with Samsung.

Our 2015 WM3370HWA front-load washer has developed a slow leak. We first noticed it the day after doing laundry when my wife saw that some water had pooled in the cracks in the tile floor in front of the machine. I cleaned it up and slowly over the next 15 minutes it reappeared. Checked the rear of the washer and saw some water on the floor back there also, but not as much as front. Checked all hoses/drain and no sign of leakage. No water at all on rear panel of washer. Cleaned up all water and ran a few empty load cycles. Leak did not reappear and I hoped it was gone, but later that night it reappeared. Turned off both water feeds overnight then opened the ho…

Hello. I have an 8 year old Siemens iq700 washing machine that recently started making very loud vibration noises during the spin cycle. After reading up about the causes of this and other sites I made an assumption that the dampers (3 on this machine) may be getting worn so replaced them as they weren’t all that expensive and the job was relatively simple. Unfortunately this has made no difference - (I probably should have found a way to bench test the old ones first) so am looking at what else might be the cause. I’ve not seen the following mentioned anywhere online - but the drum is definitely not rotating true when compared with the rubber seal it sits next …

Hello, I've got a Hoover DXOA410C3 which is about 2 months old now, and I've noticed it makes quite a loud whining noise when you turn the drum (by hand or when the motor turns it). Maybe it's normal (normally the machine is on overnight so I don't hear it), but I wanted to get another opinion! Obviously it's still under warranty and everything, but it would be embarrassing to call someone out and be told everything's fine Video of the noise: https://www.dropbox.com/s/tph9brqfakieas7/IMG_2925.mov?dl=0 Thanks

I am looking to replace the hinge on my Bosch Exxcel 8 VarioPerfect. The hinge seems readily available but I am unable to work our how to take the door apart. In the past doors used to have a series of screws for fixings and the door could be separated by removing these. However I notice that the door surround on this machine doesn't have any screws. Instead there are round plastic discs with a hole in the centre. Are these factory moulded / fitted permantly or can these be removed somehow? Or have am I over thinking it and I simply need to prise the door apart?

Hello, I hope you can help. Today my washerdryer model Hoover 7514da-80 showed fault code E21. I can't even find online what this code refers to. I have looked at the discharge pump, tried resetting (just says E21), disconnected all electrical connectors on main PCB. Can anyone offer any guidance please?

Hi there, have a Candy washer dryer with a noisy bearing and the repair shop says bearings for this model are welded in to the drum and therefore a new drum is required. is this correct as I've never heard of this before and it seems such a waste as the machine is pretty new still?

Hi. A little before Christmas, our (13 month old) washing machine packed in. We did a bit of investigating locally and found an engineer with good feedback. He came out and assessed the machine, and decided that the problem was the motor, and that we’d need a new one. His prices seemed reasonable and he knew his stuff, so we had him order the part. £135 for the motor and only £30 to fit it. Plus £30 for the initial callout fee, so £195 all in. He came the following week and replaced the motor, but afterwards he said he’d discovered a fault on the circuit board control panel that was causing the problem with the motor, and that if we tried to…

Hi I have an Indesit washing machine and it has always worked well, but a few days ago we put dishwasher liquid in it, which caused it to over foam through the door. I have tried to run it a few times since then, but for some reason it does not spin. Water gets in, it can turn and rinse, but does not spin. Any advice greatly appreciated. Kind regards Johan

VarioPerfect Serie 8. IDos dispenser is showing low detergent all the time. Even after filling up to max. It began so after I accidentally dropped too much detergent for the drum clean cycle. Foam was coming out of the drawer. Is that the dispenser fried or anything else? Or could it be reset somehow?

Hi Forum Got a Miele WKG 130 - NDS with TwinDos, however when I try to run the TwinDos maintenance it only works on container 2 - with a TwinDosCare container - when the TwinDosCare is in container 1 - I receive a display message that "there's not enough detergent/water in the container. Repeat process" - tried 6 times now and the same occurs 1) Has anyone seen this "problem" before and knows how to solve it? 2) Does anyone knows how to "force" the use of container 2 on every wash? Thanks in advance 1

Youtube Video I've made a video of the problem. I'm an electronics engineer, so not daft. I've checked the springs which seem fine, as do the dampeners. The concrete also seems stable. I did recently move home and ever since the machine has been incredibly noisey which has gotten progressively worse/developed into a knocking noise. Is it the bearings? Can I fix it? Any help appreciated as I don't really have a clue. I've replaced the brushes but apart from that it's never failed me over the last 16 years. Cheers

I have an AEG washer/dryer, bought 2 1/2 years ago (the product details show that it was actually made in 2017). The drum hose has split, (the hose that connects the drum to the drain pump) and although I managed to push it on a bit further and adjust the clip, it is not going to last much longer. I cannot find the part anywhere, not on AEG's parts website or anywhere else. How can this part be no longer available when its less than three years old? The model number is L7WBG741and the product number is 91460381200. It looks a bit like this though this is not the one for my machine:
