Lucy09
Many many thanks if you can point me in the right direction : My Indesit WI10 has stopped functioning. If I leave it in the on position (with no lights lit) it will start the cycle randomly after a couple of hours. Sometimes completing the cycle successfully. Alternatively if I hit the side of the machine the "on" light comes on, and sometimes stays on (the machine then works) and sometimes goes off again (the machine then not working). Help !!! Root Admin Whitegoodshelp (Andy) Posted January 21, 2021 Root Admin Report Share Posted January 21, 2021 Hmm. Sounds like a poor connection somewhere. Just make sure it's not on the wall socket before anything else. Preferably try it in a different socket. Need a repair or spare parts? Lucy09
Hi Andy Thanks for your reply, no it's not the wall socket, nor the motor, nor the pressure switch, nor the door switch. I've taken each of these off the machine and hitting the side has always the same effect - the "on" light comes on but for a second. What I haven't managed is to remove the bulb of the "on" light. Is there a trick for demounting this? Again many, many thanks for your time. Lucy
Lucy09
Fixed it! I found a relay in the pcb with a loose connection - quick solder was all it took (once I'd found the problem) Whitegoodshelp (Andy)
