I'm happy to have just found this forum as my AEG-74600 started to emit this rattling sort of sound when pumping the water out. After a while it stopped and a "C2" message showed up in the LED display. Apparently this indicates a fault with the pump: So I did an emergency draining by with the emergency emptying hose followed by unscrewing the drain pump cover. I discovered that the green "propeller" or "fan" if you like was completely loose, and my first thought is that this is the cause of my problems. I assume its job is to "push" the water through that area and out, and being loose it probably won't pump the water out properly. Anyway, I guessed it was…

Hello I have Hotpoint Aquarius WF 321 washing machine. Machine stopped midcycle and Enhance light and On/off lights started flashing. I switched off the machine from the main switch and started the cycle again but after 20-25 mins it starts flashing the same lights. Any help appreciated. Thank you

I have a Creda Simplicity 1000. It keeps tripping out the electric box. It is not the fuse, or socket and the belt appears/feels to be on. Possible I may have overfilled ,but less than last load which was OK,, and I left a gap at the top of load. Any suggestions on how to fix, or how to drain/empty so it is fit for removal please? At the moment, I am contemplating disconnecting waste pipe and draining into bowl and then crowbarring the door open! Drastic, but anyone got any better ideas? You can buy new washing m/c. for price of repairing it. Thanks.

Hi All, Had a Bosch Excel 7 (WAE24468GB/06) for a while now and it's been faultless. However, the other night it refused to spin and posted a F.21 error on the panel. After a reset, it cleared but the motor still was silent. I ordered some replacement brushes (not Bosch, just pattern parts) and installed them. The original brushes were completely worn out. Now the washing machine flashes F.21 and the AQUA PLUS light is permanently lit. I have tried to clear the error (power off, on to 6 o'clock, press rpm/spin then move to 7 o'clock etc ) to no avail. Having said all that, I have been able to start one wash. During the wash the motor was very laboure…

Hi all i have beko wm74145w two months old, since yesterday its only showing flashing two dots on display. I have tried switching off and leaving over night but its still showing. Any idea what those two flashing dots means ? thanks

Hi, a quick question that is probably obvious. ive just brought a second hand Bosch machine and the hot hose connector is poor and leaking. it only has a rubber sleive rather than a proper connector. 2 questions: 1. if I was to buy a new hot hose how do I remove the old one (see pic) 2. If and can I change the end on the existing if q1. Is not possible (other than by a plumber) thank you and apologies for my novice questions - appreciate any help. marc

Hi, Recently my Beko washing machine has been leaving the fabric softener section of the drawer full of water. The clothes come out not smelling of the softener at all. I've noticed that when the machine is spinning at its fastest water is being released into the drawer and starting the siphoning process early. It is almost like the a coughing noise with small sprays of water releasing into the draw. I have tried everything to fix this, a slower spin, cleaning the drawer, cleaning the jets, reducing the water pressure with no avail. Are there any other suggestions on what could be wrong and causing this. Thanks

Hi all. I have a Beko WMD 67105 front load Washer that is 6 years old now. Just recently it started to act weird. I hope that I can explain it right. The washer if it is left one day without using it, the basin gets filled with water and once the door open the water will be spilled out and it fills up the floor. I'm staying in Saudi Arabia in the eastern region and not able to find a certified Beko repair center. Only able to find small repair shops who are not fully experienced with Beko and might end up damaging the washer even further. If it is something that is easily can be repaired at least I can try before calling the repair guy. your assistance is much appreciated

The problem with the above washing machine is when you switch it on it does not start to wash . The red / yellow door light flickers 6 or 7 times which indicates some problem My question what is the problem and can it be fixed or is it time to dump the machine and it has not done to much washing either and it should not pack up like this I guess

Hello all I have looked at the normal trouble shooting page but could not find an answer, hence my post. I have the above machine that has developed faults, it is not spinning properly after the final spin (clothes come out very wet) and sometimes the motor keeps running at the end of a cycle. The machine takes the fabric softner but the clothes do not smell of anything when they come out and feel hard. We normally run the machine on the automatic setting but have tried it once on the cotton program without any issues. I have had an engineer look at the machine and he cleaned/descaled the pressure chamber and said that it was clogged and cleaning …

Hi everyone my daughter has a Miele novotronic premier plus we brought it second hand and was a bargain but she has said that when switched off overnight the machine fills up into the drum so is there a fault with the inlet solnoid valve not seating ? Hi I don't know if you can help me or not I'm new to this whole owing a washing machine. I have had my bush washing machine a127qw for just over 2 years use it once a day and just recently it's started to cut out mid cycle I usually put it on a quick wash which last 30 mins it goes on ok and last about 10 mins before it cuts out and starts flashing on the stop start button. I then have to turn it off and start again but as I turn the nossel it's starts to fill up and then can take up to an hour for it to wash I them open the door and its ringing wet so then I put it on for an extra spin which usually takes 15 minutes for it to take 45 mins. Hi. My Miele washing machine is beeping and flashing 'waterproof fault'. I had just cleaned out the filter but had not replaced it, I suspect my daughter ( would like to say she is only a toddler, but is 18!) came home with her washing and attempted to use the machine without the filter put back properly. Is that anything to do with it or is it a coincidence? Fwx221as1 Frigidage washer: So my mothers washer is making a clicking sound when draining. It's not draining completely, but will drain with additional drain cycles. She also reported a burning smell, but I haven't replicated this. I took it apart, and there was no blockage, and the pump made the noise when it wasn't attached to any hoses and the housing off. I used a multimeter to confirm correct voltage(I'm bad with electric stuff so potentially did that wrong); I checked the pump electrical connection and the wire connected to the washer. Hi all, I am not really trying to fix this issue, but just to understand better what possible causes there could be for it! A few weeks ago, our Zanussi washing machine stopped draining the water. It always went through the cycle normally, but some of the water stayed in. However, this could be solved by choosing the separate drain program after the cycle was over- this drained the remaining water. Since then, after every wash less and less water stayed in, till the point that now during the shorter/smaller cycles no water remains. However, after some longer washes, some of the water still needs to be drained separately afterwards. …

I have a Miele washing machine that our local engineer cannot fix and is at a loss as to what is the issue. Does anyone know if there is a list of recommended engineers that have the diagnostic equipment. Miele engineers charge £110 for the first 30 minutes and then £10 for every 6 minutes thereafter plus parts which is out of our league. Thanks Andrew

I've read the error codes article in the troubleshooting section, which I believe is the most relevant article to this problem, but I couldn't get the answer of the particular error I think I'm facing: Hello, I have an Indesit WIXL 143 S. This problem just randomly happened one day when I was turning on the washing machine. It doesn't try to fill with water nor pump out water. It's completely silent and all lights are flashing on the machine. Looks like the black capacitor is leaking a little from the top. Could this be the issue? Or could the issue be that relay you see in the background that seems to have burned a little? It's a indesit wilb12. Yes I have tried to reset the program by holding the start button and also left the power to the machine out for one day straight.

I done a load of washing yesterday and at the end of the cycle the machines beeps to indicate it has finished. I turned it off and today when I went to do a load of washing the machine is still showing its at the end of the cycle and I cannot get it off. Any advice please?
