Hello, Yesterday I broke the 2 wires of the tacho coil (the 2 wires that go into the coil). Is there a way to solder back the 2 wires in the coil. I cut a little of the plastic housing, and inside a side wires going through. Are those wires connected to each other, or is there a begin and an end? Thanks in advance!

My heavy handed children ended up pushing the 2 plastic buttons(one being the on/off button) inside my washing machine. Leaving the metal panel inside with the 2 red buttons on exposed, the buttons had been covered with the plastic ones . I went to use it , and with a pencil gently pushed the power button on. After turning it on this way for quite sometime, I was surprised someday when I turned it on and it tripped my breaker.. I've tried a different socket but the same thing happens. Do you have any ideas what has happened please? Thank you for reading Tania

Hi, I have a Beko WMC126W washing machine that is leaking water from the front bottom of the machine. I have a photo of where the leak appears to be coming from but can't identify the part - does anyone know? The photo is taken from the bottom of the machine looking up. I have checked/drained the filters, nothing appears to be stuck in them. The machine is just over 4 years old, is it worth trying to get it repaired or just buy a new machine? Many thanks for any help/advice!

We started renting a property a week ago (our first time) and the kitchen had a built-in Electrolux EWG12440W (released 2007, manual). We've noticed it smells 'damp'. On the first day, my partner put it on a 2-hour cycle with soda crystals (no clothes, of course) but it hasn't helped. Any ideas?

Hi folks Hoping someone can help... I have a Beko washing machine. Suddenly today, the wash cycle has developed a fault. It starts each little spin, does maybe half a spin, and stops (stops even trying). A minute or so later it does the same again. The motor sounds fine to me, and it had been working well until today. I've cleaned the filter etc, and turned the drum by hand and it seems fine. Can anyone suggest what that is likely to be, so I can decide next steps (repair or replace)? Thanks! Glen

When I first start my Grundig Washing Machine it starts with water intake for about 6-9 times stopping 10 seconds into each cycle. After a message pops up saying safety and switches off. At the back there a black box that does a double 'click" noise after each cycle. It's all dry inside of the machine. Thanks

I have a miele W853 - I have changed the suspension struts but the drum still moves more than I would expect. I have bought 1 new spring to replace to compare the stretch/tension. I will replace all if this looks promising. I cannot find advice on changing the springs (they are under a fair bit of tension). I have got the plastic holder off the top (wonder if I have to undo bolts on the drum spring holder). any advice would be appreciated.

Hi, if anyone is willing to offer their opinion on my enquiry I would be very grateful please. I have a Miele W844 which is 10.5 years old. An engineer has been out today (from the list of approved repairers as Miele have engineering shortages in my region) and has said the Control Board is at fault. Taking in to account the part and labour, the cost will be £400ish to repair it. The engineer said he believes it is worth doing as the machine is in excellent condition but I have a niggle in my mind of whether this is worth doing. I have seen the blog about costs being relative to replacement and agree with the sentiment that expected life cycle is only relevant if a repai…

Our beko has developed a fault, the drum wont fill with water as it just pumps straight back out. What I assume to be the pump is also very noisy. This fault started after the electrical circuit breaker tripped out but this may have happened due to the fault? The timer countdown for the cycle just flashes but doesnt countdown. Any help would be appreciated.

I have the washing machine stated in the title and have recently noticed water coming from underneath. Any ideas why??? Looking underneath it looks to be coming from where the drum meets the concrete weight?

Hello, I am new to this forum and I need some advice. I recently purchased a new 6 KG LG DD front loader washing machine. The machine works flawlessly - barely any sound and good wash algorithms, but I see that the drum has around 8 to 10 rust spots on it (attached pics of the same). I tried rubbing these spots with vinegar as suggested on this forums, but they wont completely go away. Would these spots grow over time or mark the cloths? Should I get this machine replaced while i still can? Another thing I noticed is that, I ran the machine with half a scoop of washing detergent and 60C wash settings for the first time as described in the manual and I saw that t…
