Hi there. I have an old 2004 Bosch clasixx 1200 washing machine which leaks only on the rinse/freshen up setting. I have looked at the two water input valves and everything there seems dry. Water just pours out from underneath. But only on this setting. Normal wash is ok. Many thanks.

Hi there, We have an Indesit Intex washing machine, loaded the machine as normal, closed the door and pressed start but nothing happened, the door was still locked after 10 mins of waiting then all but 2 if the lights started flashing and the machine sounded like it was trying to fill or drain. The only way to open the door is to unplug the machine and wait for the door to unlock, if left closed and then plugged back in the door will then lock itself without trying to start the program. I have had a look through previous fixes but can't find the answer to this, any ideas please? Thannks

Hi, I have a Hoover OPH148, front loading washing machine about 6 years old. In the last 6 months it has developed an intermittent draining problem. When this happens I drain the machine through the filter fitting and check the filter after a small amount of water comes out. Sometimes this fixes the problem, sometimes not. For no reason it then continues to work OK for a period. Should I buy a new pump ? Hoping you can help. Nick

Hi I've got a 13 year old Miele W1514 which we've never had any problems with over that time , but that it sounds like the bearings have gone on. I'm being quoted £65 call out charge for someone to look at it. Does anyone have any idea, how much it might cost to repair and importantly for a 13 year old machine, how much life it might have left in it, if it were repaired. Would it be more cost effective to buy something new? Thanks for any replies, or advice. david

HELP!!! I have a front loading Frigidaire (Electrolux) washer about 12 years old. I have replaced the pump, motor, shock absorbers, and that rubber drain thing under the drum. after I replaced the pump the motor went. so I replaced the motor. I noticed one of the shock absorbers was busted and it wasn't spinning so replaced both. After all this it didn't do anything but take water on. in my frustration I took the drum and shook it! To my surprise it started to agitate and then it stopped after 10 seconds... I shook it again aned it started again... this went on and on until the spin cycle where it went through the entire spin cycle on its own. does anybody know what c…

Hi - Got an E23 error code com e up yesterday on my integrated BOSCH washing machine. According to the handbook, this could be due to a leak, but I can confirm no leak found. However, I can see that a sock has got caught in between the drum and the door opening, meaning the door won't open. Any ideas how to get the door open?

Hi, I have a washing machine that has been sitting up for about 3 or 4 years in a garage that is not climate controlled or anything. The washing machine wasn't used much so it was fairly new before it was stored. Well after pulling it back out for so long, I plugged it in, the water took some time to start back working. and there was no leaks. My problem come in to the fact its not agitating at all. It doesn't spin or anything. it drains when it needs to. I thought maybe it was the washing coupling, after watching so many youtube videos but it was barely ran. Im trying to get answer on what I need to do to fix the problem that has me now frustrated. The washing machine is…

Hi there I have a Bush F621QW and it keeps coming up with Error code 3 stating that i need to clean the pump. I have done this multiple times today and it still keeps coming up with the same error and stops halfway through a wash. Is there any advice you can give me to fix this as I am a little reluctant to just go out and buy another machine if its something that can be easily fixed myself. Thankyou. XXX

My Zanussi ZWG 5145 washing machine drum seems to have dropped. After some lovely banging noises during a spin the machine stopped and flashed its lights at me in distress. I managed to drain and remove items but drum has definitely dropped about an inch at the front, back seems stable and it rocks back so maybe springs ok I think but drops dramatically when lifted at front. Is it worth fixing? And is it easy enough that I could do it? Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi there, I have Hoover DXOA610AHFN-80 and it's stuck with E10 error. I've replaced the interlock with a genuine part but it still does the same. My question is: Is there anywhere electrical schematic of this washer and is there anyone who looked further into the problem. Why it's happening and how can be prevented? Thanks.

My Kenmore 110 is not shifting from agitating to drain and I've been told that this may be cause by a "wig wag" that may be needing replaced. Except that I haven't been able to locate this part on my model. Was wondering if somebody could either help me find it or let me know what else could be causing this problem.

Hi, I have a Beko washing machine model WME7247W that won't start. The digital screen lights up, but nothing changes when pressing any buttons. The start light is flashing. Followed some troubleshooting instructions and it gives error code E11 that seems to have to do with the motor. Do you think that I can repair it with less than £70? Otherwise it's not worth it. Thanks

Hi I am not sure if anyone will be able to help but I have a Beko WMD261W washing machine that has suddenly stopped working. It is quite a basic model with a turn dial system as apposed to an electronic system (hope that makes sense). the lights are coming on when I select a program but the machine wont start, the start light keeps going back to flashing. the door appears to be closing fine so I don't think its that. any help would be much appreciated. many thanks Louise

Hi, My washer dryer Zanussi (ZWT71201WA) recently stopped turning on. I read around and saw a post saying to try disconnecting the dryer element. Amazingly the machine now switches on and runs a wash normally! I need to fix the dryer part now though. I have bought a multi meter and tested the two obvious parts (the element and the thermostat). The readings have confused me though. The element seems to read 71 ohms which is a little more than most people’s advice suggests is normal? The thermostat reads 0 (which I believe means open circuit?). Can anyone advise how I can tell what parts need to be changed? Any advice would be really appreciated!

Hi all Our 5 year old AEG washer drier has been getting louder on the dry cycle the past few weeks and today some smoke came out of the drum. I took the back off and there is lots of brown dirt but the belt looked fine. I took the belt off and spun the drum and the noise is still there so it’s not a motor issue. Could anyone give me a suggestion? The wheel seems solid on the axle and the noise sounds like something is loose in the drum. I’ve attached a video. Any help would be appreciated if just to say it’s not repairable and get a new machine. Thanks IMG_4066.MOV

Hi... We have a new issue with the above washing machine. Usual faults are the filter blocked with pocket rubble etc but tonight's is different. The washer powers up and is able to select a program. When starting the program it just sits there with the upper left icon flashing..looks like a water fill symbol. It just sits there and doesn't advance. I've checked the water inlet filter but it was clean. We live in a very soft water region and dont have any problem with hard water issues. EDIT:Just been running it again and left alone for a bit... Error code 3E has appeared on the display. Can anyone suggest a cause of this please? Thanks …

Hello guys, Having a bit of trouble with my washing machine. It still works perfectly but doesn't half make a racket at times. I've worked it out to be when I think it's draining the water out, it sounds like gravel is rattling around inside. I know from having many aquarium pumps that they make sounds like this when the bearings are busted. I have googled and googled but can only find information about the drum bearings, do the pumps on washing machines even have bearings? I just want a second opinion before I start spending money on parts as I don't really have any knowledge of washing machines but am pretty handy at fixing things. I have made a v…

Hi folks Thanks in advance if you can assist me, I've tried the obvious things but can't see any indication in the manuals what's going on here... Brief history - machine struggling to empty, bought and installed replacement pump. Confirmed that old pump was packed tight with scum and all sorts of mess which would explain why it was struggling to empty. Cleaned it out for what it's worth, but new pump already installed at this stage. Put machine back on its feet, and now it won't start a cycle at all. When you press Start, the Start / Reload light just flashes steady. Does anyone know what this is trying to tell me? I suspected maybe I damaged the door…

I have learn't that the machine is very unreliable and my personal opinion is go spend a little extra and get a lot more for you'r money or you will just spend more in the long run fixing the problems. …

My Samsung top load washing machine has been giving me a 4E error code for a couple of weeks. I moved in to a new rental home about 2 months ago. The washer worked great in my old house and worked just fine up until a couple of weeks ago. A technician came and looked at the machine. He said the error code had something to do with the fact that my home doesn’t have a “hot water inlet hookup to the washing machine” or something along those lines. He wasn’t much help, and I felt extra stupid and didn’t ask many questions. So basically I’m wondering... do I need to get another washing machine that’s less high tech? Another brand? Somebody help please!
