Of 3 out of the last 4 washes I have noticed than an item of clothing has a strange round circle on it, I can't tell what it is or what it's from, but it the same size/shape on all 3 items of clothing I have found it on (2 tops and 1 underwear, not noticed it on anything else)

I have a Zanussi WJD1667 W Jetsystem washer/dryer. I moved around a week ago and one of the removal guys put the washer in place and connected it to the drain. I was doing a washing a couple of days later and the machine wouldn't drain? I had to end up taking all the water out manually. I thought it was the drainage pump that must be faulty. I got it down on it's side and checked it and the pump looked ok. (quite a lot of water came out) I bought a pump anyway. Haven't fitted it, because the only thing that works now is the power light (which is a press on/off switch) The LED display's not working at all. I don't know where to start. Could it be that something has got we…

Recently my Hotpoint Aquarius WMF760 was making an odd noise while spinning at lower speeds. I had also noticed it had become very noisy at full spin. Today it stopped spinning. I took the back off and sure enough the belt had come off. The problem is when I thread the belt back on, it just comes off again, if I keep turning the drum. It's as if there is a misalignment, but then I could just not be putting it on properly. Even if I try to force it to line up it still comes off. The belt comes off to the back of the drum wheel, so it ends up between it and the drum. The belt has grooves in it and so does the motor. The drum wheel (I don't know the correct term so…

Hi, I've finished putting my new spider arm on and have it assembled, then it came to putting the motor back. The back feet are fine (ones that all spares places have in stock and look like the small pic below). The front ones have disintegrated, I'm after the front rubber feet that sit through the front holes of the motor (see other pic). I've phoned espares only to be told they are not available without the whole motor, cant believe that? Any suggestions please?

I recently replaced the heater element in my bosch exxcell 7 1200 express front load washing machine due to the machine tripping the fuse, when i removed the element i could see that a gouge had been taken out of it about 2-3cm from the seal. I put this down to age as we’ve had the machine for 4 years with no problems. I replaced the new element, making sure it was inside the retaining clip and after 3 washes it tripped the fuse and after i removed it again i can see the same has happened. When spinning the drum and looking through the gap for the element you can see a section more than the rest, could the drum be out of shape ? Any help would be much appreciated.

Hello Picked up this machine today and got it home and connected. Turned it on and orange power light came on, it beeped and I could see leds for other functions come on. Then I left it for a moment to get some cleaner and when I came back the orange power led was still on but no other lights were on. Have tried turning off and on again. Tried pressing start/reset buttons etc and nothing. No flashing lights So was wondering if it is some kind of safety shut off ? Or will I need to get an engineer out? Have left unplugged and then tried again same.... Found copy of manual online but doesn't cover my issue! Any ideas before I have to call out a r…

Hi, my washing machine was working fine until last week on a spin cycle I heard something fall out. The spin continued but was making a rubbing sound. When we took the back off to look, we found the below (see photo below) spring coil thing at the bottom of the machine. We have no idea what it is or where it came from so we can put it back. The machine is still working but when it gets to spin cycle it’s still making the running noise. Anyone know what the problem is or where the coil has come from?? I would really appreciate any help. Thanks

Hi, I have a new spider arm for my Samsung Ecobubble on it's way. On removing the bolts from the old one, they all have blue threadlock on them. Simple I thought, but there's tons of different numbers out there. Can I just buy something like Loctite 2400, 243, 248? The water will wash over these bolts, but I presume as they will be firmly ion the holes, soap etc wont affect the threadlock? Many thanks

Hello everyone! We have recently started using washing powder in our machine (Bosch Classixx 6 1400 Express) and have noticed that it makes a loud 'groaning' sound at various points of the cycle that seems to come from the detergent tray. This only happens if we use powder. Can anyone help? Thanks! Jon.

Senior moment. Had the no drain Issue on my LG F12u1tcn4. Stripped it down to clean but appear to have lost the L/H side of the pump ( Viewed from the front) which is two wire from the machine so I belive only one pump which I have on the R/H side. What goes on the L/H side. Also the smaller diameter black hose is missing from the pump. Where does it go to? Speaking to LG support all they can now offer is an engineer visit. Decided to cut my losses and buy a new machine but would like to complete the repair and sell as referbished. Thanks

The dryer leaves clothes steaming. Looking at the forum I saw it may be the inlet valve. I checked and the solenoid to the condenser has no reading whilst the other 2 where around 30 ohms. I checked online for a spare triple inlet valve but the parts conpanies say it is obsolete. Can you replace lust the solenoid or buy an alternative make? The machine is Siemens WI54430GB/02 Thanks for any help.

I can't afford for $30. shirts to be destroyed.

Hello. We moved into our house about 18 months ago we got a Bosch Classix for £50 this worked ok apart having to having to have a knack for shutting the door in order for it to start due to the catch mechanism being loose. It would occasionally not drain and freeze mid cycle with the washing in it. Eventually we'd be able to get it started again but it kept happening and got worse. Eventually due to the door problem also being problematic we got rid of it and got one for free that was nearly new from Gumtree. This one was a problem from the beginning and wouldn't drain and the cycle would also freeze. As it was a similar problem I thought it might be something to do wi…

So I just got my first wash done in my new washing machine. I was told that it didn’t matter which detergent I used. But after the wash had finished, I opened the drawer and noticed that at least half of the surf powder was still there. When fitted, the washer was only connected to the cold water supply. From my previous experience, the detergent dissolved better in warm water. Would liquid detergent be a better choice? Tia.

I'm completely new to fixing washing machines. I connected only the cold line to a washer I received just to see if i could get it to wash a shirt since I was told it was broke and nothing else. I simply want to know if water should come out of the hot side back onto the floor if the hot side is not connected, or does this mean the valve is broken.

Hello all, I am new here, so apologies if this topic is covered elsewhere. I strongly suspect the heating element in my Lavamat 10500VI is shot and I'd like to replace it. I have searched and searched and cannot find a relevant YouTube video and I cannot find the Service Manual. The machine doesn't open from the back, only from the top and a small panel at the front, so none of the videos I found were helpful. Does anyone have some tips, links or the service manual? Thanks!
