Hello! Have a Bush washing machine that doesn't want to to drain in the process of a selected wash cycle. However...when the dial is turned to the just "drain" option, it will happily do so. To me this implies that the filter is clear and drain pump works fine Could it be the PCB? Grateful for your thoughts in advance. Cheers

Hi, I have just had a new washing machine installed by the engineers. Some of my clothes are coming out with tiny circular stains only a few millimetres in size. The stains are black or very dark blue like ink. One Tshirt came out with 2 of the stains right next to each other. Another Tshirt only had one stain. I have washed other items that have had no stains. Any advice you could give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I have a Bosch wvg30461gb. It locks but doesn’t start. There is no beeping or any drum or pump action after door locks. I can’t hear any relays in action either after the door locks. I’ve checked the pump and it’s not blocked and isn’t open circuit. Would I be right in assuming a pcb is at fault

Hello all, Aqualisa AQGMD129UK motor not turning; no fault codes reported by the appliance, pump-out of water works fine (although I have subsequently found that the mini water inlet value stock-cock is bust, but that's for a different day!) Followed the guidance on this forum, belt appears to be like new and has a fair bit of tension, removed the motor to check whether the brushes are worn, but it would appear that this model has a brushless motor (i.e. no obvious place for carbon brushes to be removed / inserted, no black carbon deposits). The motor itself is part number 2165143OH. Interestingly, when running the appliance on a 'fast wash', it appears to…

We have a new LG WT7800, which is a High Efficiency top-loader. On Normal cycle the fill level seems very low – with a small load, there is no pooled water in the tub at all (though after several minutes of "washing" the clothes are at least wet), and with a medium load the water fill is several inches below the top of the load. Is this normal?

I have a zanussi washing machine which I bought in May 2017. It is connected to mains soft water. It serviced a family of 3. I used it on average about 4 times a week / every other day. In August 2018 the pump failed. I got an e20 message and water would not drain. Engineer came and replaced the pump, cost me £73. He couldn't find anything that would cause the pump to fail. In March 2019, 8 months later, the pump failed again. Another £71 this time as the pump was outside of its 6 month warranty.... It has failed again for a third time on 9th November 2019. I don't want to pay another £70 odd pounds for a fourth pump, nor do I feel I should fork out another several hundre…

Hello, Hoping someone could kindly help me here. I have a BEKO WDX 8543130W and the unit is not draining. I have removed pump and filter, all clear. Tested pump by powering externally, rotation is fine (a small screw did fly out of there on first test, though - must have been caught between impeller blades). Refitted, connected and still not draining. Entered Diagnostic Mode and error code E32 is displaying. Could it be PCB not providing voltage? My combi-meter didn't detect anything during spin, other than continuity. Should have used the multi-meter. Do these units run from a…

Ok ok, what I did was I noticed it was skipping certain cycles when in use so I took top off to put WD40 into the mechanism, I did this but curiousity got better of me and I moved the cog part (not the dial part) and I pulled it back a bit and pulled the wire and plastic that turns the dial. Simple fix I believe but I don't know how to, not totally sure model but it matches visually a WMA1510W I see on Youtube. and says WMB 10 W on washer itself. I assume its just a case of clipping back on but don't want to risk damaging it if doing it wrong

Hi there! I bought a new Hoover link one touch two weeks ago. Every now and then it will beep a couple of times and then the time remaining flashes. It stops spinning and 2 mins later the door unlocks. I can press the start button again and it will carry on washing No error codes and I've searched everywhere for beep codes but can't find any references to beeping online or in the manual. Thanks in advance.

I have the error code f03 that is intermittent. I've changed the element but that hasn't cured it. It's strange that the machine often continues working for a while after the code apears (along with all the indicator lights flashing). Any suggestions welcome! thanks

Hi all, hope you can help. I've moved in with the Mrs and discovered that the washing machine is plugged into the hot tap. I've never heard of a machine where it's not supposed to be plugged into the cold, so I figured I'd check online to make sure, but I can't find any reviews or a user manual on the internet and the Swan helpline isn't open on weekends so I'm a little stuck. Could anyone confirm if it's got its own heating unit and I should switch it to the cold tap? Thanks in advance!

My washing machine is just over 30 months old and developed fault 3e. Samsung refuse to honour the warranty, saying I had not registered the extended 5 years, which I have done. The machine sticks and the drum shudders; If put on pause it will wash after 2-3 hours of consistently pausing it. Does anyone know what this fault is? Could it be the motor? Thanks

So i'm troubleshooting this washing machine. the problem is that it has started to burn the fuse (10 A automatic fuse is installation). It runs fine at first during the prewash, but when it goes to the main wash the fuse goes instantly. So my thought was the heating element has burned out. i tried running at washing program cold, that way the heating element is not active, and the machine finished the program without problem. Then i opened the machine up to measure the resistance thought the heating element. i disconnected to two wires from the terminals and measured 27,6 ohm. i thought the web for a reference and found a video that clams the heating element usually…
