My Hoover Washer/Dryer VH W654 D appears to be working as advertised; however, at the end of each washing cycle, I have the error code E 07. I read that this error code is indicative of a motor/drum/tacho fault. The drum appears to turn normally. Is there anything that I can do to resolve this issue, or is it a job for a mechanic? Thanks in advance, Roxy

My first post here, so hope i'm asking for some advice in the correct place - INDESIT WG113D. Has developed a leak at the rear of the drum, looks like it's coming from the tension bolt, this needs a large Torx head driver to tighten. Could there be a seal behind this that may have perished or should i just tighten up this bolt, does'nt seem to be any locking nut on this bolt, so it may have come loose after time? Any advice please, thanks.

Hi all, Thanks for letting me join these forums! I am after some help sourcing a part for my washing machine. We recently found out that the reason for our CMD146 Smart Washer Dryer has largely stopped working is because of a chaffed flat ribbon cable (about 1 metre long). This cable runs from the module which is situation bottom rear of the machine and runs tightly with other cables to the top rear via cable tidies to the front control board and so needs to be around a metre in length. After looking into this and speaking to several suppliers. Each time I've been told they cannot tell me the size of the cable or the cable is around 0.3m long. I later took the plunge of a…

Hello All, I have just bought a Logixx7 integrated washing machine as part of a whole new kitchen. It will not spin dry washing at all, I have tried all sorts of combinations pf program and loading from full to just less than 1 kg. Bosch customer service have basically told me it has to have a full load to spin which is laughable as who does a full load every time. So I end up with soaking but clean washing, the engineer said there was no fault when clearly there was. If anyone has a suggestion as to what I might be able to check, otherwise its going back for an integrated machine that spins. Thank You

I recently purchased a Beko Washing Machine WMB61221W and when I used it for the first time I decided to use the 'prewash' button. The machine filled with water and then started the cycle. The machine then seemed to keep washing the clothes, no rinse, no spin, nothing apart from the drum moving around both ways. I have looked at the manual about cancelling the programme and all it does is continue what it was doing before. I called Beko customer service and they thought that it was the sensors saying that the load may be one sided and the programme was just repeating itself. Can anyone shed any light what the problem maybe?

Appliance manuals are often made available by the specific manufacturer of that appliance. I have a user manual page full of links to download a user manual for any Hoover appliance - or many other brands

Washing machine (Miele W 754 S) wont drain when full but will drain and spin when most of the water has been removed! If the water is removed manually, it will then spin ok. Also, once the pump is going I can recycle all the water that I've just removed from the drum, into the powder inlet and it will drain the lot) Worked fine for years up until a few days ago. I've checked: - The pump is working. - The filter is clear. - Five tubes connected to filter: -- Inflow to filter - Clear -- Outflow, filter to base of drum - Clear -- Outflow, small tube for emergency emptying - Clear -- Outflow to drain hose - Clear -- Inflow from side of drum (Is this an…

I have a Hotpoint WD860 washer dryer. It's about 5 1/2 years old. Recently it has been making a very high pitched squealing noise during the spin cycle. As the spin speeds up the noise starts then fades as the spin slows. It only did it occasionally to start with on the higher spin speeds but now it's every time. I called a local repair man. He said it was the motor bearings which were dry as the built in lubrication wasn't working properly. He tried some WD40 and said if it didn't improve I'd need a new motor unit as its a sealed unit so you can't replace the bearings. He quoted me £170 for the motor plus fitting. The problem persisted. I decided to call Hotpoint as th…

Hi all, Newbie here, opened up my condenser dryer to find my belt had got mangled around the pulley assembly. Damage has been done to the pully - so need to replace it and i'll do the belt at the same time. Has anybody out there got some tips for me - looks tricky to remove the pulley - as the extractor fan unit connected to the motor spindle is in the way. first attempt appears tricky to remove the extractor - have removed locking nut - but still a bit stiff - didnt want to yank it and break something else -so any tips here ? also just wanted to check that there's only a single pulley on these dryers i.e. no idler pulleys - the main pulley got pretty damaged - so …

Hi there I just got a brand new Beko WMB81241LW Washing machine from Currys, a pretty good washing machine for the price seems well made (except for the soap drawer feels a little cheap and nasty when pulling out) and has lots of features. The only gripe I have noticed so far is that an awful lot of water seems to collect at the bottom of the grey door rubber gasket after every wash and the instructions tell you to wipe the door gasket after every wash. However in spinning I think i see that the water splashes up from the bootom of the door gasket and all around the door when spinning and doesnt drain away. Are there any tips/modifications anyone can think of how to get …

Hi all, Our WF560 is flooding the kitchen, it just keeps filling up its drum when running a wash cycle until water backs up to the detergent draw and starts leaking out on to the floor. We have been able to empty the machine by switching to the pump out cycle. Is this possibly something I could have a go at fixing myself? Any ideas on which components I should check? Any help would be really appreciated. Cheers, Paul

HI The washing machine was on then heard a bang, though a belt had snapped or something, then the wife said the power had gone, the washing machine had tripped the fuse. After putting it back to test, it was just spinning, not filling with water on any cycle. Have took of the top can't smell anything electrical. Funny noise coming from a long box that looks like it sits abouve the drum kind of ticking. Doesn't even sound like it is trying to call for the water. A friend said sounds like the solenoid, but cant seem to find one for this model Have looked at troubleshooting guide, non of them fit Cheers in advance

HI, I have an Indesit W143 which has been in storage for a number of years, after only being used a few times since new. Having now moved house the washer has been fitted and was fine for a few washes however it has now developed a fault. The timer clicks round continuously - I have tried the reset procedure several times with no success, the programmer continues to click round The unit now flashes 10 times (uncertain if it has flashed more or less than this at any point but it's now consistently 10 flashes). This indicates as far as I can tell a pressure switch fault or possibly a cold fill issue? I have followed the guides you have available - very useful, thank yo…

hi, I have moved house and my Beko wm5100 worked fine. I transported it to my new place and now the drum will not turn. It fills ok and drains ok but will not turn. I have checked the motor brushes just in case they had worn and they are fine. There are no obvious loose connections. Any ideas? Many Thanks Will

The drum bearings have gone on my aquarius wt540 so i thought i would dive in with both feet and try and replace them. I have managed to get the drum out of the machine but a bit stuck from here. Do i have to separate the white plastic casing around the drum? And if so how do i do it because i dont want to break the plastic tags by forcing them. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated

Hi, Really need help here. I have a 9 year old LG washing machine, top load. The problem I am facing right now is that, the minute I turn on (pressing the On/Off) button, water starts flowing into the drum without me even selecting any type wash cycle of anything. And it will keep on flowing until spills over. The only way to stop the water from flowing is I turn off the electric supply or I pull the plug from the solenoid valve. I have replace both the solenoid valve and the pressure switch and the tubing that connects the pressure switch to the drum, but it's still the same. I am really lost.

Hi, I'm new to this so bare with! Our Bosch Classixx 6 has been moved to an upstairs loo which we have converted to a utility room - the loo feed now feeds the machine. We had a problem with the machine not filling but on removing the small black rubber grommet from the inlet feed/filter there is enough pressure to feed the machine. Great......but.......we now have a problem that the water appears to continue to run into the soap dispenser into the machine. I have read through all your info on siphoning and I am certain that this is not the issue as I have placed the waste well above the drum level. Does this model require a higher pressure feed that in turn activates a…

Hello, In the last week this washing machine has stopped heating the water - I can tell this because I have an energy monitor that is only showing a slight increase in consumption during all parts of the cycle (0.5-1.0kwh compared to up to 3kwh before) during usage, plus the door glass is stone cold throughout the cycle, even on a 90degree cycle (before last week, even on a 30degree it would warm a small amount) I am unsure how any fault codes would be displayed, the machine has an LCD text display (when I once turned the machine off with the water supply off a message appeared to this effect so I would expect some kind of feedback to any problems on here) but there is …

Hi our bosch maxx 5 has developed an odd clicking/knocking noise and a faint burning smell almost like a cars clutch. It started yesterday at nearly the end of the last cycle with a light load inside it (6 dish towels) . I stopped the machine right away and called out a technician who after popping it up on its end and looking inside declared the motor was "knackered" however this was without even switching it on ( He didnt seem keen even to come out when i said it was a bosch) . After he left i switched it on and popped it on spin which it did no problems to full speed and no nocking/clicking sound. I googled the symptoms and it came back with everything from the suspens…

Recently The lights on the front of my Beko washing machine have not been coming on. the washine machine still worked perfectly well untill recently every time i turn the washing machine on the RCD trips. Its not the plug or the socket we have checkedd all this. Just wondered if anyone had any idea what the problem could be as my husband can fix machines but if its going to be too expensive we will buy another one. Thanks.
