Looking to replace our Amana Tandem 7300 washer and dryer. Critical dimensions are maximum 27" or 68mm wide and maximum 36" or 91mm high, because has to fit a built in counter top. I see compact washer and dryer sets that are much smaller, and full size that are much larger. The capacity of our Amana is 3.5 cu.ft. Do you know of anything that is closer to the maximum width of 27" and maximum height of 36" ?

I'm about to buy a new washing machine . initially I was thinking to buy a samsung washer dryer or just a samsung washing machine around £400 to £600 range but after some research I realized there has been lots of problem with their Drum Spider arm corrosion right after their warranty expires . Then I decided to go for german models which they are also expensive such as Bosch but i'm not sure how reliable and good they are nowadays compare to korean one such as samsung . LG washing machine review, model WM14225FD LG are fairly new in the UK washing machine market. They have a reputation for being quiet. LG washing machines look well made. The WM14225FD has a 7.5Kg drum which is very big. If you don’t wash for a family though it is too big, and small loads may not spin if they can’t be balanced – especially items such as jeans, heavy jumpers, towels and sheets. (Related advice: How do I avoid out of balanced loads in my washing machine?) SERVIS M6011S WASHING MACHINE REVIEW This washing machine looks surprisingly solid and is heavy. It’s a budget washing machine though and the weight is mostly accounted for by the heavy concrete tub weights. AEG LAVAMAT LW1450 WASHING MACHINE REVIEW Looking inside the AEG LW1450 I can tell it is very similar to the Zanussi washing machines. AEG are slightly above Zanussi in quality but not that much. INDESIT WIL163 WASHING MACHINE REVIEW This washing machine has a 1600 spin speed which is frankly much too fast for a budget washing machine. It just doesn't have the quality of build and suspension to allow a stable and quiet top spin. The washing machine is noisy and moves around a lot on smooth floors. HOTPOINT WF860 WASHING MACHINE REVIEW FIRST IMPRESSIONS This washing machine has a top speed of 1600 rpm and has a large 6Kg drum. It has a nice digital display that informs you of the time left to complete the program as well as the temperature and spin speed settings.
