Hello, I just bought a BEKO WTE 6511 washing machine, and everything was working fine for two days, and on the 4th washing, there was a loud noise and a lot of black mass like gum or something started coming out of water dispense hose. The cycle ended normally and towels washed properly. There were just a couple of towels washing and cycle was normal. Should I request a new washing machine or try to repair this one my self? I haven't tried starting it again. Any idea of what could have been the problem?

Hi Team, Hopefully posted in the right forum and first post for now! I have a Siemens washing machine WM14S794GB / 08 and it continues to run with 1 minute to go on the display. I have cleaned all pipes, pump filters, etc and cannot find any blockages. If I run the machine on a quick 15minute (30 degrees) programme, irrespective of spin speed then the cycle completed without any issues at all. The problem only occurs if I choose a programme other than the quick 15 minute programme... I have checked the forum and have read posts on heater elements, pressure switches but cannot understand how these could be faulty if the 15 minute cycle completes? Not sure if I an …

HI, I have a Hotpoint WMD962P washing machine with an F11 fault. This appears to be a drain pump failure, after watching a tutorial on espares I removed the old pump, an Askoll M231 and checked the resistance which was at 266, apparently should only be 230. So i ordered a replacement. The new part is an Askoll M231XP with slightly different pin configuration but, more importantly, is rated at .2A and 40w, where the old is .2a and 34w. It is proving very difficult to get the exact part as the machine is over 10 years old. Is it worth fitting the 40w motor or should I hold out until I can get the 34W?

Hi All Ive looked at the troubleshooting page. Ive recently bought a Bosch Washer Machine WAT28371GB. At first the washer machine would be fine however recently it now doesn’t start when loaded and displays a weight for the corresponding programme. The load in the machine is less than weight for the programme. This doesn’t feel right does anyone know how I would stop this from happening. thanks in advance

Hi, I have read lots on the DIY repair instructions already and it has been extremely helpful - easy to read and easy to follow ! But................................ My machine is 5 years old this month. I dont know if that is old for a washing machine ? It has been heavily used. Last Friday, I put a couple of towels and bathroom mats in, and put it on a quick wash. It seemed to wash ok, but decided to not fully spin/drain. I found this website and followed the instructions regarding an obstruction or blockage. I drained the machine manually, checked the connecting hose, although could'nt manage to detach it from the machine as I would need to take the whole back …

Washing machine does not complete cycle Model: Defy Automaid 600 It does all the functions separately if you select them, i.e wash, rinse, spin and drain but it doesn't do it by itself like it should. When it is supposed to start draining after washing, the "start/pause" & "wash" lights on the control face start flashing after about 3 minutes and it then stays like that until you press cancel. Any help is appreciated.

hi ive got a zanussi lindo 300 which wont take softner, ive changed the top part of dispenser draw,i ve run the diagnostic program and both water valves open and let water through. From what i can see both valves need to open at same time to divert into softner compartment.which leads me to think the fault lies on the logic board,is it possible to reprogram logic board or does it need replacing.much apreciate any help with this or do i just continue to add softner to the drum before the cycle starts,as a work around.

I have a Miele W844 washing machine. During the Main wash cycle it is making a strange irregular noise which sounds like gurgling. The noise continues even if the drum is not moving. The noise does not occur on the rinse or spin cycles. Any ideas about the cause

ISE washing machine ring of rubber fell out My ise machine (ISEW1607W) is 9 years old and has been magnificent all that time. However today, I opened the door of the front loader and a long ring of rubber fell out around the door. It is not the door seal which is still in place and is any much larger than the circumference of the door. It seems to be (forgive me if I don't know the jargon) something that is a buffer between the drum and the front of the machine but it is not clear which way round to try and put it back on or what would hold it in place andhow to get it back into place anyhow.

I recently replaced the water drain motor which was leaking. After replacing this part, the leak stopped but now see that water is coming from the filter drain hose during any wash cycle. This is the hose located in the bottom left hand corner that comes out when you open the small white door. This door hides the round filter that unscrews when you want to check the drain area for objects too large to drain out normally. This never happened in the past and wonder why this has started immediately after I replaced the water drain motor. Any ideas why?

I removed a paddle from my Hotpoint machine last week to get a piece of underwire out that got stuck under the drum. This was all fine but the retaining clips snapped on the paddle. There was loads of scum stuck under the paddle so I removed the other 2 to clean. All of them broke and I ordered replacements, but our post is really slow at the moment and washing is building up. Could I safely use the machine with the paddles missing if I put larger items in the machine which arent likely to be sucked through the small gaps from the paddles?

Hi, I have a Hotpoint WML730 Aquarius washing machine that has recently started making an intermittent tapping sound. It only seems to do it at the start of the spin cycle. I have read the article on washing machine noises but still can't get the the source of the noise. It appears to be coming from the left hand side of the machine. I've attached a video which shows the issue. Any advice would be gratefully received Thanks washing machine noise.mov

Hi, today my wife found two magnets in the drum of our washing machine. I am sure I never saw them in our house anywhere and there doesn't seem to be any damage in the drum nor any way for them to get inside.... They are circular magnets with a hole inside. Diameter 22mm, diameter of the hole 12mm, height 7mm Any idea where they might be from?

I started a Super Short cycle on my Beko WY104764MB on 16/03/20. When I came back to collect the washing, it had not drained properly. I drained the washing machine manually and checked the filter, which had collected a few bits but nothing major. I then attempted to run the Super Short cycle again. This time, the washing machine started to fill up with water for around 5 seconds whilst making noise, and then stopped for around 20 seconds. This process continued to repeat, so I suspected that the problem was with the water feed. The water feed seemed like it was OK, so I put the machine on to a spin and drain cycle. The washing machine started to make the same noise th…
