Heeeelllp!!! I am usually handy with keeping our washing machines going but this one is giving me nightmares. The serial number is wab28161gb/13 So, the washer would not drain. I removed the filter and found it blocked with a coin, hair bobbles and fluff. Removing the debris didn't work so I replaced the pump. The fault remained so delving deeper I discovered that the transistor that feeds the pump had blown. New board fitted...still faulty. I have checked the rubber sump with the ball in it...all clear. The drain hose & u bend...all clear. Supply the pump directly with 240v (via the loom from the board)...pumps out fine...so that tells me tha…

I have mystery orange stains on my laundry. They don't seem to look like rust stains like I've seen on this site. Can anyone advise? They mostly appear on my whites randomly, but the camera couldn't pick them up, these are the most noticeable photos I can find. TIA

Hi, I have a Hotpoint washer dryer. About a week ago it would not dry, the fan kicked up but would not heat. After testing the element with the multimeter it had blown. I fitted a replacement element and thermostat as it was giving some odd readings so assumed that had caused the element to go. It worked briefly when I was just testing it however when I came to get the clothes out at the end it was still wet and cold. Tried it again and it was blowing cold again. Tested the element and it had blown the replacement. Just after some advice on what to look for next, all wiring seems fine so I am assuming it’s a board fault?

Hello, Our Hotpoint 95620 is on the blink. She's an old girl (getting near 40 years) and so no fault codes! I know her pretty well but cannot figure this out. The motor turns but does not sound smooth (stutter?) and does not spin. It does this on all settings. Pretty sure it's not the motor as I swopped it for another and still have the same problem. Now where's that old twin tub..........................? Cheers

Hi there, Wonder if anyone can help me. Moved into a property with a inbuilt washer dryer by Beko. Model wdiy854310. We've never got it to work and I have a basic electrical knowledge but all the tools as a sparky. The machine when turned on from the mains is completely dead, no noises, no lights. I've seen other posts but they usually have signs of life. My white goods repairer just said buy another one but money is tight at the moment. I've tested the best I can and found the flex into it is live but stops at the back of the machine and appears to go nowhere else. Leading me to believe the bottom PCB is broken. Anyone have any ideas…

Hi everyone first post. Have a Hotpoint washing machine, approximately 3 years old.Not impressed with it to be honest,Clothes don’t seem to be dry enough after main cycle so always have used the spin and drain cycle immediately afterwards to get more water out of them. The problem now is that using this cycle has resulted in a very recent, last two weeks, problem of intermittent beeping during the 10 minute cycle. It doesn’t do it all the time, only happens if you don’t open the door just change the program.Despite the beeping it has always spun fine,it’s just so annoying. Is it a warning sign?

Hello, I think I may have an issue with my Beko washing machine and I hope maybe I could get an advice on what to do. I will do my best on trying to explain what has been happening with it. First of all, the machine is quite new. I have it for one and a half years now. A couple of months ago, while running the usual wash and dry cycle I always do, the program suddenly stopped and it started making "beeping" sounds continuously. I tried turning it off, tried some sort of factory reset (as it was written in the manual) but nothing worked. I had to pull the plug out in order to make it stop. After about 15 minutes the machine would not even start up at all. The next day…

Hi, our washing machine keeps stopping after around 2 minute mark with the error code 22 which suggests a drainage problem. It sounds like the pump is working albeit struggling. We have cleared the front filter multiple times and found bracelet pieces, coins even some rubber type stuff that may be from trainers. We have cleared all this but we are still receiving error message. I"ve removed drain hose and poured cold water down it like suggested on this site to no avail. When.tipping the washing machine on it's side 2 identical components were rattling around inside the bottom. I've attached pictures. Does anyone know what they are and if th…

Hi All, I have a John Lewis Washing Machine JLBIWM1402. I have two questions: 1. The washing machine has a white water pump cap and to the right a grey emergency hose. What is the purpose of the emergency hose and would there be an issue if I removed the cap of the white water pump before the grey emergency hose to take the water out? 2. I have noticed water collecting in the water softener tray after each wash. How fix this and is it related to the above? Thanks S

Hi folks, I have an Electrolux EWF10843 in front of me with an intermittent, non-opening door lock. Have checked the following; Pressure switch and tube Door lock Inlet solenoids All pass with flying colours so suspecting the relay on the main board. However, I cannot find a service manual for this model ( have seen 1 UK video for changing the lock so I have assumed this model is available in the UK) so cannot identify which relay I need to attack. Anyone know which or a test to find it. I've elected not to remove the board until I have the info.

Good evening all, As the title says there is a low noise whenever the drum on my machine spins. Has only happened in the last week or so which coincides with the machine talking a small walk sideways on occasion. The machine is only about a year old and used to be as quiet as can be so this is way noticeable. I have included some videos of the noise while on a wash and you can even hear it when hand turning the drum. Any advice of anything i can try before i call it into Samsung? It's a WW80M645OPM/EU 8kg machine. https://photos.app.goo.gl/j3L8ko6tERwfiBsV9 https://photos.app.goo.gl/3GsiWwGb2H92DRHZ9 Thanks in advance.

I am New to this forum and need a place to gather information about my washing machine to understand it better and to be able to maintain it properly. What i have is a Miele W149 "Novotronic" from around 2001 so it`s basically 20 year old now. It is still alive and well and pulling its weight. That being said i did replace the two bearings oh maybe two years ago due to a terrible ruckus from the old bearings. It was quite the job for someone who has never touched a washing machine before but i got er done. Ok, cutting to the chase. What are the most typical issues when dealing with 20 y.o. old washers. The motor seems to be working just fine so hoping this will last …

Hi all thanks for the add. I have a hoover DXOA 410C3B washing machine that has a damaged door seal, I have seen a tutorial advising to take the top wood panel off to reveal the bolted seal on the inside of the drum. Problem I have is I've unscrewed the back but the wood panel is stuck in a plastic channel on each side and won't budge, I have it about 2cms away from the front barely exposing the inside but I don't want to do damage by yanking anything. All help will be appreciated.

Hey all, Our washing machine has been making this cracking/scraping weird noise while on cycle as in the video. I've tried: - removing plastic bits inside the drum and checked for metal bra wires/anything else - nothing there - removed cover at back and tried spinning it many times as fast as possible - shaking it from all directions Checked pretty much everything I could find in advice online and can't replicate the sound at all when it's off. Any ideas? Thanks Andris VID_20210410_204524.mp4

Hi There, At a bit of a loss - we bought a new BEKO WTL94151B about 3-4 weeks ago as of last night it started making a weird clicking noise , like the door lock is constantly trying to lock. I shut the door thinking that was the issue and it went off, clicking stopped. today the machine powered up for a second then dies. I used the manual release to unlock the door. When we put the power back on then it starts up, then turns off then on again, doing this constantly - at the same time the door lock is constantly clicking. I guess its a faulty machine - but no idea if its a software fix or its a new machine? any advice would be great …

So I’ve bought a LG AI DD V3 F4V309WSE 9 kg 1400 Spin Washing Machine from curry’s a couple of weeks ago the first time I used it, it rattled like hell! Yes I took the bolts out and look levelled before use. No I have to have it on a slow 800/1000 spin so it doesn’t rattle or make a racket! I’ve spoken to LG who are no help. I’m just wondering if the drum is faulty? Or are the LG washing machines all like this? I had one years ago and it was ultra quiet! please help! IMG_9098.MOV

Hi The filter cap on our machine is stuck. Last time this happened it was blocked but could be removed. From looking online and at the articles it seems likely something is stuck in there but there are no front access screws easily accessible to remove the filter so we can't disconnect it to check. They appear to behind the entire front panel of the washing machine which is proving tricky to remove. Please see photo of filter access point. We have turned it on its back to try and access it underneath but can't see how to detach it as screws are clearly holding it in place. Any experience with how to do this with this type of machine? thank you for any he…

Hi My samsung wa65f5surw/sa top loader has stopped spinning. No error codes, the wash cycle goes as normal but when complete the closes are sopping wet? I have c;leaned the internal filer, was pretty clogged up but still not spinning when i tried after cleaning. When a cycle has finished i disconnected the drain hose from the base of the machine and water flowed out, not loads so the machine is managing to drain some of the water, same also when removing the rear filter. Any suggestions what else i can try -please? Thanks Nick

Hello! I've decided to replace the noisey bearings on my Miele Washing machine. I reckon it must be about 25 years old so the drum was seriously stuck. However I have managed to pull the spider off and finally the remaining large bearing which left a rusty mess. See photo. My question is is this mess the remains of a washer or something? So how many components are there in the shaft system and what order are they in? There seems to be a big seal on the back of the tub, then the smaller bearing seal and then this washer perhaps. Thanks in advance and for taking the time to read this!

My washing machine's waste pipe doesn't seem to be long enough. It sort of droops downwards when attached to the sink and the sink water returns back into the washing machine now and then. Is there any way to fix this? Would a extension pipe fix the issue? Also, is it normal for this to happen when the pipe is placed downwards rather than upwards? Thanks!

the machine is around 20years old. we brought it with us when we moved to nz. water is entering fine, and it is draining fine. i think it is when the drum wants to turn. so the blinking is intermittent. just at the times when the drum should be turning. is this an easy repair? and is it worth it considering the age of the machine? thanks
