Hi all, my washing machine BEKO ECO WMB81445LW was working fine until last night when it decided to not work. It powers up but a first couple of times i tried to start it the screen panel was acting strange, it showed END when it was supposed to start the cycle and it was filling with water and draining. Now when i try to start it, it fills with water and then then drains the water out start and it does not rotate. I watched the diagnostic & test video on youtube and it does everything fine apart from rotating, it does make some sound when its supposed to rotate but no rotation. Belt is still on the pulley system. Its used once in a week and is hardly 3 years old. I w…

Hi guys, i’ve tried using the search function but nothing coming back under fh4g6tdn2. I’ve got an LG fh4g6tdn2 front load with touch screen that wont power on the display. Now i’ve tried unplugging and holding play/pause and this resets but still doesn’t allow the front panel to light up. It does however bring the red supply light on on the back of the board which is telling me that supplyto there is in fact okay. After not getting a run command the board then switches off after about a minute. The unit itself is in the out house so my first question is “do these have a trip for external low temp”? Secondly, does anyone have any ideas on what it could be? …

Hey, new here so hope I'm posting in the right place. I have a Samsung EcoBubble machine and I've noticed that it makes a knocking noise all the time whilst in operation, and also whilst loading / unloading. I've attached a video of what it's doing. Was wondering if anyone on here could help me identify possible things to check, it doesn't do it if it's running and the drum is empty so I'm guessing that eliminates the bearing?? 20211121_165608_1_1.mp4

I believe the shock absorbers in my AEG Öko Lavamat 74600 are worn out and need to be replaced as the drum runs unevenly even with light loads. The springs holding the drum from the top both look OK, the drum spins evenly without any load so can't see any other reason for this than the shock absorbers needing replacement. Is there anything else I should look into before ordering new ones? I've removed the rear metal panel, but it looks like a very tight fit to replace the shock absorbers (there appears to be two from what I can see although I hear some machines use 3 or 4) from there. Does anyone know if it's possible to remove the side panels, or another way to get …

Hi Everyone, I'm new here so please forgive me, especially if this is normal. I recently got a new washing machine but it seems to be making this buzzing sound and i'm not sure if it is entirely normal or not? I have attached a video link to demonstrate the sound. Please can anyone let me know if i'm just being an idiot or if this is cause for concern. Link - https://youtu.be/k5xyJ_-cYDE Thanks

I have a hoover dyn8114 d8pb It gets half way through draining and gives the message e03, It seems to to start pumping out water then stops with the error message, so ive started the Ive emptied the filter and made sure it was clear, disconnected the hose from under the sink spigot and put the hose directly in the sink, it did the same thing drained for a while then stopped. Ive now taken of the filter pump and inspected for debris, tested the resistance on the motor which was,.223 Disconnected the large hose from the drum, the hose from the machine that goes to the sink and those from the front of the drum, all are clear, there are two hoses t…

Hi all We’ve got a ~30 month old Beko WTG741M1B which won’t unlock after finishing a cycle. The machine appears to drain correctly, I’ve checked the impeller spins by opening up the cap used to clear obstructions and watching it spin on a drain cycle. I can also feel hot water leaving the hose and entering the trap under the sink. The machine unlocks if switched off at the wall and there doesn’t appear to be any water left in the drum on doing so. Can anyone suggest anything else to check before we resort to calling someone out to fix? Thanks in advance Tom

Hello, I wondered if anyone could help me please. My 2 1/2 year old washing machine has stained all mine and my children's clothes It’s ruined clothes that I bought them for Christmas too. I have cover for the repair (I pay insurance) and they said the drum has gone and is organising for it to be replaced (due to be done in 3 days time). They said that the stains are caused by oil? It’s been repaired a fair few times over the last 18 months through the additional insurance I have on it. My question is… is this normal for a machine that is still quite new? I wouldn’t expect this after 2.5 years, and it’s now going to cost me a fortune to repla…

Purchased a used Miele washing machine several months ago and till recently it's been awesome. Recently got the Check Drain, which I did. Nothing whatsoever in the drain area, quite clean. Didn't solve the problem so I repeated the procedure a few times. Ordered a good used as well as brand new pump. Replaced pump twice, did not help, pumps do not spin. Tried leaning machine at 45 degrees to get rid of moisture from repeatedly opening drain. Still same issue. I did see a suggestion somewhere that an inlet valve may set this warning, but I don't understand how, since the machine fills up fine and it's the pump motor not spinning. Sometimes since this started th…

Well, finally managed to get the dryer part working again - though possibly helped by the fact I still have a couple of years of a 10-year warranty to go. (I've posted the history leading up to getting this repair elsewhere in this forum - First of all, I have to say that the Miele warranty repair admin seemed OK - in other words when I phoned them I got through pretty quickly, they found my warranty details and then made an appointment about 10 days away, then did text me the day before as a reminder. So, that part works. The phone was answered by a nice enough young kid - but he was clearly trained in how to push blame for any washer-dryer failure prompt…

Hi all after alot of looking around trying to work out a fix for this, im in two minds as to just buy a new machine. Ive replaced the pump and taken the back off. I have replaced the water hose and checked the waste pipe too. The belt is still on. It will rinse and drain but will not complete any wash cycle- it cuts out after 2-3 minutes. Any help would be so greatly received. Thanks in advance. Machine-- Beko WDIX8543100 5 years old. £430 Serial number — 1680157408

Hi - I have a Miele W1 Twin Dos. I use it the "normal" way with fabric softener and washing powder. Recently I've noticed that the washer drawer fills with water so every time I want to add Lenor I have to remove the drawer completely and empty it in the sink. I've cleaned the drawer thoroughly and can't see any blockages anywhere. Any ideas?

Hello. My 2009 Miele W3724 washing machine is leaking. Initially it was yellow-orange oily water, but after emptying the machine via the drain filter, it appears to be a bright yellow grease. It appears to be from the front bottom left where the foot is. From the troubleshooting links I know it could be from elsewhere however the machine is too heavy for me to move to explore further. The machine has been used on average 3 times a week and I am wondering if it is worth getting it repaired as potentially it has another 7 years of life. Thanks for any advice.

I have a Bosch Exxcel WVD24520GB which leaves the clothes Hot and Steamy wet at the end of the drying cycle. They are actually wetter than after the spin cycle. From what I've read the problem could either be the cold water inlet valve or a blocked condenser. I've checked the three solenoids with a dvm and get 5.3k for the condenser solenoid and 3.7k for the other two is this correct? If these are ok that leaves a possibly blocked condenser. How do you remove and clean the condenser. When going through the drying phase some water is being pumped out and down the drain hose. When the drying phase is complete if you remove the plug at the bottom right water is still ther…

Hi all, I've had this machine for some time, maybe 10 years or so. I replaced the brushes some time ago as they were worn out and the machine stopped working the other day "after making a noise when spinning." It may have also tripped the house RCD. When I got to it, there was an F21 error on it, which I believe means the motor is not operational (won't spin or maybe no current?) I've replaced the brushes and spun the motor by hand; the brushes were in contact with the commutator OK. Reset the F21 and put the machine onto spin. The machine drains but then a relay clicks about every 30s for about 1-2s, which I imagine is it attempting to start…

Ok, so my Miele W149 is still running like a champ. It was produced on march 8th 1999 so it`s starting to come of age. I replaced the drum bearings a few years ago because the old BBs were shot. Right after that i had a major drum leak that proved fatal for the original heater element so i had to replace the heating element after eventually fixing the leak. I just now replaced the two shot dampers with new ones from ebay but this package also included two brush motor thingies (not sure of the name) and also not sure if i should replace the old "brushes" at all or just leave them be?! https://www.ebay.com/itm/323946555899?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p20…

Hello and thankyou, I have an Hotpoint Activecare mod NM11 946 BC, its just out of warranty, the stop/ start button does not always work. The digital display is good the on/off button is good all the programs are good, but I cannot start it, its not showing any codes, and I have done the un-plug bit a few times, it still wont run, unless, and this is what I find strange, if I switch it off at the consumer unit (Fuse box) and leave it a few days, or a week or more, I can re-power it up again and for the first time it will run OK, after the wash has finished and if I leave it, it will not re-start, any ideas or thoughts? thanks. Nos

Hi all, first time on here and hope someone can help! Our 3 year old Beko washer stopped mid cycle full of water a week ago. I drained water through filter outlet (filter completely clear and recently cleaned). Before draining manually I had tried five times to drain and spin the soaking clothes but to no avail. Repair chap advised replacing circuit board which was done the next day. Old circuit board definitely looks burnt out on one part. Machine still has exactly the same problem after replacing the circuit board! It starts to wash then stops dead (yesterday it stopped dead with the display saying 8 minutes left for 40 minutes before then moving to 0 minutes without dr…

Evening everyone, Im new here so firstly let me say Thankyou in advance to you knowledgeable people as I’m completely stumped. Can anyone help? My Bosh washing machine regularly stops towards the middle to end of the cycle with an E35 error. Now I believe it’s normally to do with excess or blocked water but it keeps reoccurring. The only way I can stop the beeping and get the door open to restart everything is like this: - Open front little door at the bottom. Drain off water through a little pipe. Then open the valve and let water out. I then have to tip the washing machine forward to drain more water (appears from…

I have a Beko WMB714422S washing machine which has been working fine until suddenly, it has started ending the programme within a few seconds of starting. I've checked all the guides, found out how to enter test mode etc - there is an error code (E03) displayed and then I run through all the test procedures, they all work fine - it spins, fills, empties etc. E03 suggests something to do with the heating element but that doesn't explain why it ends any programme I try so quickly as the heater wouldn't have kicked in at that point? Any help would be gratefully received - the washing machine is in a house in Shetland so it's not very easy to get an engineer out to look at…
