Hi Guys I have just found this site. I need to repair a Bosch WFF2001Gb/1 machine. The motors armature has blown. I don't want to buy the whole motor at the prices indicated online( almost the cost of a new machine) so the armature/rotor replacement is the best idea. Bosch say they don't do them and I can't find any anywhere else. Has anyone got any ideas as to where I might be able to source one from? Any halp would be greatly appreciated. Regards

Hey I have a Beko washing machine: wm 6123W. Firstly, the drain pipe of the washing machine got torn; i wasted days to find a drain pipe suitablle for this machine. After replacing it, buying the remaining hoses etc...and turning on the machine, water leaked from the bottom. It is not from the pipe i did replace , nor from the inlet hose. It seems it is coming down from the hose coming out of the pump which from i recall should be connected nowhere. I am attaching images of this hose; if someone can help me to fix this problem. i check the in -oses to the pumps, they seems all fine. for some reason, water is coming out of the hose showing in the images....

Hi everyone, I have an AEG LAVAMAT 88730-W update washing machine, PNC: 914 002 098 01. It stopped working last week and I called our local appliance repair man to have a look at the unit. He advised me that he has been unsuccessful in sourcing the spare part required for the blown anti-interference suppressor/filter. I contacted the AEG UK parts department and with the PNC and serial numbers they confirmed that the part has been discontinued. The discontinued part number is 8996453283930 which I can’t find in stock anywhere online. Can anyone please advise if I can purchase an alternative suppressor/filter to fit in its place? I was advised on the phone that this wa…

Hi folks. Recently, my Samsung washing machine was possibly overloaded by my housemate and filled up with water and displayed an error message. Foolishly, he treated it like a PC and switched it off and then on again. We think it filled with more water, and then it started leaking water from the front door. I replaced the door seal, and the job appears to have been a success, as I just put a wash on and as the drum filled with water, there was no leakage. However, I am now paranoid about how much water should be piped into the drum to do a wash cycle. I stood and watched the drum filling up, and it seemed to take a long time and fill with a lot of water. The d…

Hi I've just fixed an electrical issue in my Bosch Exxel 1600 (loose wire) but I can't seem to get the error code to go away and use the machine again. When I switch on the machine all of the red lights on the front are lighten up and the LCD display is lit but isn't showing any messages or icons. Does anyone know any way to reset the error code on a Bosch Exxel 1600? Is there a specific combination of button presses? Thanks Robert

My washing machine developed a leak. On inspection it looked like the leak was from the sump hose. Took the sump hose out and found a mangled metal filter. I am unable to find where this metal filter came from. Any help identifying this metal filter would be great. Thanks

The drainage pump will not stop. When starting any cycle the pump starts and pumps the water out before it can go in the drum. It's like it's stuck in pump mode and a cycle at the same time. Hotpoint wml520.

The programs I normally use start and finish as per normal but clothes are still soapy and wet. Rinse only settings likewise. Drum is still partly full after spin cycles, which are slow, presumably because of the extra weight of water slopping around, slowing the motor. I drained the drum via the filter, the pump was clear of debris and no damage. Outlet drain pipe (pump discharge) is clear, as is the pipe to foul, no problems there. When I took the back panel off and watched a rinse only cycle, the water level never dropped significantly, the drain pipe only trickled water when the pump was operating and the rinse only cycle finished with the drum never draining…

The machine has become noisy and there is movement in the drum so the bearing has gone. I have stripped the machine down and the plastic tub looks to be in 2 halves but I can't separate them, are they welded? There are no screws to be seen so I'm thinking they are and the bearings can't be replaced.

Hi I live in a small rented flat and the washing machine is very old, I've even been told if the washing machine breaks they can't repair it as its that old they don't make parts for it anymore. Anyway my problem is this I bought a new bed set and sheet put it in for wash and there is pulls all over the fabric everywhere very large around at least 5 different pulls and the fabric stuck together. Is this the washing machine causing this? Or is it the fabric? I'm worried to put anything else in there. Thanks I tried uploading a photo but it said its too big :/

Hi. I have a Hotpoint WF860P washing machine. My problem is that the drum doesn't rotate. The washing machine does everything else fine. Starts, locks the door, fills up, heats the water, empties. But the drum doesn't rotate. I have consulted the FAQ's, The belt is ok, The motor is a 3 phase stator type, therefore has no brushes. The machine doesn't display any fault codes. Even with the belt removed, the motor still doesn't spin. I have tested the heating element, it is pulling 1.8kw, so that is ok. Are the brushless motors known to fail? or is there any way to test it? Or could it be the control board. Nothing looks burnt or damaged and the wiring looks ok Thankyou…

Can anyone help me please? My Bosch Logixx 7 which is only two years old and rarely used, has just stopped mid cycle. It's beeping now and the buttons are flashing. I looked up the manual but there is no answer for this one. It just tells you what to do if the start/pause button is flashing but it's not. The wash button and the rinse/hold button are the ones that are flashing. There's water in it and the door wont open. There's also a bit of a rubbery smell coming from it. My bed sheets are in it and I need them asap! Can anyone help me with this please?

Hi, I've an old Hoover Newwave 1200 washer dryer that's started displaying the error code E1 with flashing LEDs. Washer does fill, heat up, empty and spin, I've not watched it closely enough to see what it was doing when E1 pops up and sometimes it complets the cycle. As mentioned on other posts here, this should just be something taking too long, so I've had various bits out and tested them: The pump (rotating cylindrical magnet type) was clean and working but I opened and cleaned it, plus the outlet hose. Sump & eco ball now clean as new. Soap tray, its housing, hoses from valves, valve filters all clean. Valves all ~ 3.5K resistance and seem to work. I'…

Hello, I have recently purchased the SAMSUNG ecobubble™ WF70F5E2W4W washing machine. It looks nice and fits well but the washing cycle times are horrendously long! The programme duration of the standard programme is as follows: Cotton 60c at full load = 249 minutes (yes, over four hours!) Cotton 60c for partial load = 191 minutes (this is over three hours and simply far too long) Cotton 40c with partial load = 171 minutes (a very long time still) There is a quick wash that takes 15-20 minutes but this can only hold 2kg which is virtually nothing. Basically, the times on this washing machine are incredibly long. I should have checked the time programme before I bou…

Hi, A week or so ago my machine was ending wash cycles leaving clothes still very wet, I assumed motor brushes needed renewing and as I had a spare set decided to fit them. Old brushes still looked good (about 25-30mm long) but changed them anyway. Clothes still wet! Next I examined drain pump which really was knackered, impeller was virtually hanging off spindle. fitted new pump thinking all would be well but clothes are still wet! When starting cycle, water fills and I can see the drum move very slightly then it just buzzes and stays stationary as if it's trying to rotate but can't, it seems as if there is not enough grunt to turn the drum. (drum rotates freely wh…
