Hello - I have looked through the 'common problems' index and I can't find this problem. My machine -- maybe five years old? -- keeps making a sound like it's draining even when the program display shows 'finish'. This has been going on intermittently for a couple of years but now seems to happen with every cycle. It didn't happen at first. We have a sceptic tank here and the 'fall' is very shallow. I'm wondering if that might be the root cause. Then again, this was not a problem initially. I'd be grateful for any advice. Cathy

Hi, My Zanussi washing machine will not begin any new washing cycles, and the door locks as soon as it is closed with the machine turned on (not necessarily running a cycle). Is there a way to 'reset' the computer, or force it to finish the cycle that it might be stuck in? Thanks, Dan

Hi I have Blomberg Washing Machine Model LWF411452AW purchased in Nov 2018. I have an issue, the drum will not spin, I put it in TEST mode and when it gets to the Spinning section the drum moves a few inches like it is trying to spin but then stops and nothing happens. I have done the following... Drained all the water out of the system and checked the filter, hoses and the Impeller - all OK I can move the Drum freely by hand Checked the Belt - All OK It is a Brush-less Motor so no Carbon Brushes. When I run the Test sequence E-- comes up at the start but no other error codes appear during the testing Any help you can give me would be…

I've searched hi and low for an answer to my simple question. I just recently acquired a Kenmore top load washing machine that has a coin unit attached. It has a multi wire harness that enters the washer with a plug adapter. Can I just unplug this harness and use the washer without the factory coin unit. It's a Kenmore commercial heavy nduty model # 3976321. Thanks for any help.

I recently purchased a beko washing machine, WTB820E1W. It's normally no issue but recently it's started to leak suds from the powder drawer and the door, even if we haven't out very much powder in it. We normally use a dosing ball in the drum. Running a drum clean seems to sort it, which we are doing once a month as stated in the manual. Any ideas as to what could be causing this.....

Hi guys, I recently realised that after every washing cycle at 60*c, the clothes are very warm and steamy. I read some articles saying that the machine machine could be connected to the hot water lines, but it seems like its connected to cold one. Also, when I turn the cycle only for rinsing, the water is cold.. I'm so confused. What could be the reason for it?

My wife recently purchased this Miele W716 Washing machine, which we were assured works. Its a 220 volt 50 Hz machine. In a direct 240 hookup, although there is power to the machine nothing functions. I stepped it down to a 110 hookup and got power to the control panel and switches, however although the machine will fill it will not operate beyond that. I have tried every setting and on the programmable dial it gets to Spulen and stops. if I power off and return to stop. the cycle window comes back to the top however nothing functions (wash, rinse, drain, spin). The panel is probably ok on 110 power where everything else requires the 220. the three wires of the back of th…

I have a Bosch Exxcel WVD24520GB washer dryer. It's over 7 years old and get's used about once every other day. Over the last couple of days it been getting to the end of it's wash cycle (timer down to 1) and just carries on and won't go on to drain or spin. If I advance the knob to drain it drains and to spin it spins. From what I've googled it sounds like the heater so I'm gong to try a hot wash and feel the window to see if it's heating up and I've also read that I can try leaving it on to see if it stops eventually. There are no error warnings. I'd value any opinions e.g. might it be the heater, is that expensive to fix, is it time to give up and move on etc? T…

Hello. We have a Whirlpool 6th Sense WWDC7440 washer, about 2 years old if that. The on/off button has always seemed a bit flimsy. So a few days ago the button just pushed in without the usual click. I've removed the front control panel and discovered that rather than a solid on/off switch there is essentially a flimsy piece of plastic with a point on it which is supposed push a microswitch on a pcb. But it has snapped. I've ordered the £5 plastic part. The question is how to fit it. The most obvious barrier is that you need to get the selector knob off to move the controller box away from the front...but how? Ive tried to remove the selector knob from the front side bu…

My Samsung washer dryer (wd0804w8e) fails about 10 minutes into the wash cycle and shows an LE Error, there are no visible leaks and the pressure switch seems fine. If I select the say cycle but disable the “ecobubble” function the cycle runs fully this is true for all other cycles with out “ecobubble”. Any ideas on what the issue could be and what “ecobubble” actually is? Thanks.

I have an Ignis FL800S which is about 4-5 years old. Yesterday it started acting up in very specific way: When it starts spinning and speeds up, you can hear a strange sound that is difficult to describe, and then stops and all lights on the front panel start blinking together in unison. I have searched online for solutions but everything that I found seems to be focused on the drum not spinning at all or problems with the machine not finishing the program, which is not my case. The machine seems to pump and drain water properly. I would appreciate your ideas and help in fixing this.

Hi All. I have a Logik liw814w15, bought in 2017. Yesterday, half way through a cycle, it stopped working and showed error code E21. This is apparently a problem with pump drainage.. I have done all of the following: - I have taken the filter out and cleaned it - I have taken the pump out from underneath, disconnecting all the pipes and cleaned them (not much residue there) - I have taken the pump apart and cleaned inside (not much residue there either, moves freely) - I have blown into the waste pipe, it is clear. Tried again and still showing the same error message. Any ideas what I can do next??

Hi, My washing machine is making a high pitched weird whining sound whenever the drum rotates by hand and on a washing cycle. I've checked online and on other forum topics here but all that people say is bra wire or something stuck in the drum, but I've looked all over but found nothing. Somebody else mentioned something about the motor brushes? I opened up the back panel and found that the noise is louder. I've also tried to move the drum and theres no play in the bearings. Has anybody witnessed this before with their Beko washing machine and do you know if its something I can fix at home? It is no longer under warranty. Any help would be greatful. …

Model: indesit iwsd 61251 c eco(eu) Decided to change door seal for my indesit. Managed to remove old one, that was easy enough but now can't get on the new one on inside drum. All videos it looks very easy but when I try to then it keeps popping off before all sides are on, not to mention probably will be even bigger struggle to put on the band on inside. Anyways, wanted to remove front panel so I would get more access to drum and hopefully have it easier to put on door seal but I can't find a way to remove panels. It's almost like all of them are welded together. Remove all the screws I could find on front. but I can see in many parts around…

Good afternoon. I've been having problems trying to re-install a belt that came off earlier today. I have looked at the repair help page and numerous youtube videos but I am still having trouble, this might end up being a silly thing that I am just overlooking but I am lost for the time being. The problem is that the motor shaft and the drum pulley do not align with each other, so when I put the belt on and start rotating the drum pulley the belt will eventually slip off. Now I have checked and the drum pulley seems tight, it does not rattle nor does it move more than what seems like the regular movement necessary for it to spin. I'll attach a couple photos and a vid…

Hi I was hoping for some guidance on sorting out my hotpoint WML730 washing machine. The pump had started leaking on this to the point that we only realised when it packed up. Pump was replaced with a new one but it didn't work. Testing the pump in isolation showed it was working fine when 240v was applied to it. I put a meter across the wiring from the PCB to the pump and this showed that only a voltage of around 130-135v was coming to the pump. Checking the PCB circuit board showed that one of the transistors in it had "blown up" - it is the one marked as Q011 on the board and marked as Z0107NA. The contents of the rest of the PCB looks intact. No dry j…

I'm struggling with how to mount the tension ring around the rubber washing machine seal of our AEG 74600. Does anyone have any suggestions, and is the spring part supposed to be at the bottom (under the rubber flap) as seen in the photo below?

Beko WM 74155 LW If I start a washing cycle the drum turns back and forward for about 60 seconds+ then stops. The timer never counts down, thus no wash completed. Rinse and Spin and Drain works fine. Forum refused to recognise a standard MP4 file that works everywhere else. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1IaiZpwZNCinRTPJY12BjOKcNzKhuEHwc/view Given suitable instructions I am capable of replacing parts. If fault is main controler I may not fix as that is over £85

Beko wmb71543w programme selects but won't start until 2 or 3 attempts of shutting the door. Seems like lock not selecting. Does this sound like the lock is faulty? Is there any way to check before I order a replacement? Thanks
