Cathy
Hello - I have looked through the 'common problems' index and I can't find this problem. My machine -- maybe five years old? -- keeps making a sound like it's draining even when the program display shows 'finish'. This has been going on intermittently for a couple of years but now seems to happen with every cycle. It didn't happen at first. We have a sceptic tank here and the 'fall' is very shallow. I'm wondering if that might be the root cause. Then again, this was not a problem initially. I'd be grateful for any advice. Cathy
Root Admin Whitegoodshelp (Andy) Posted May 6, 2020 Root Admin Report Share Posted May 6, 2020 Hi. It's hard to think of a fault that would cause this. If the pump was just running all the time it couldn't wash or rinse so it must be behaving normally on a cycle. There can be an anti crease action after a wash cycle that intermittently turns the drum to stop the laundry left inside getting badly creased, but it shouldn't really need to activate the pump.
