The element has been replaced 5 times the control board once (last time with a new element) Today its not heating again!! Each element is lasting about a week. Hi The Washing machine starts and cuts out (no power or faults on display) half way through cycle in any of the programs. it does not trip the electric or the fuse just needs switching on again at the front and then you can start again.

Hi, my washing machine is only around 4 months and now when you select a wash cycle using the dial the “wash” light just flashes. Equally if you select rinse the “rinse” light just flashes. It doesn’t make any sounds. I've checked the filter and that is clear. how do I put it into test mode, I’ve tried the other Beko results but my machine looks different to the ones I’ve found on YouTube etc.

Hi. I've had my Classixx 1000 about 21 years. Yesterday it successfully washed, but today the motor is not working. Because I found some remnants of a paper facewipe in yesterdays wash, I wondered (at first) if I had a drainage problem, but now I know the fault is simply that the motor has failed to run at all. The wash program actually starts and ends, i.e. I do not get a fault indication. During the program I can hear clicking that appears to come from the main circuit board. I surmise I'm hearing the operation of a relay. The drum spins easily and the belt is good. So, I'm wondering if anyone can suggest what the fault is. Is it likely to be worn brushes, given the s…

Hello, is there anyone that can identify what the problem is with my washing machine that has developed a small leak. I recently dyed some clothes and this forunately helped in highlighting where it's coming from. These images are taken from the bottom of the tub. Img 1 img 2 It's the classic "should I repair or replace?" question. I think I've had the machine for about 8 years now, so I'm swaying towards replace (plus, I like shiny new things). Many thanks in advance for any help.

Hi, I am hoping someone can give me some guidance. I have a Hotpoint WT540 washer, which is now stopping mid-wash, and displaying two flashing lights on the vertical indicator (position 2 and 4 - whichever way you read it - there are horizontal lights too, but these don't come on - wouldn't a fault be indicated on these?)). I have interpreted this (possibly wrongly?) as fault 10, pressure sensor / valve. I have replaced the sensor, and as far as possible checked the hose to it (I have blown down it, and can hear water bubbling, and I have pinched the very bottom of it, and can not find a leak or split on it when blowing again). Oh, the on on/off button flashes very …

Hi Everyone, I have a VERY old Hotpoint washing machine - a Hotpoint 9545 Electronic 1200 DE LUXE which I've been told is about 30 years old! It's soldiered on relentlessly but I think the motor may have packed up as at the weekend there was some smoke/burning smell coming from it. I've checked a spare parts web site and I was able to find a motor for the Hotpoint 9546 but not the 9545 and I was hoping that someone could tell me whether the motor could still be used on my 9545. I contacted Hotpoint but they couldn't help me as the machine was discontinued ages ago so maybe a technician who's a member here might be able to help me. It's a long shot I know…

Hi my washing machine is making a weird noise when it gets to 1200 and 1000 spin cycle. It's a fairly old Swan brand and I was hoping to upload a video where ypu can clearly hear the noise but it seems I cannot. To me it sounds like it may be a frayed belt. If I could sent the video (not very large) that would be useful Regards

Hi, My machine has developed a clicking problem. I replaced the brushes yesterday as they were well worn but the clicking sound continues, it won't go through a wash cycle but it will fill with water and drain but it also will not spin. Any gurus out there with some advice please? I'm no electrician so I may need talking through any possibilities. Many thanks.

Hi. I went to turn on my washing machine this morning and it tripped the electrics with a bang. I returned the trip switch and tried again. This is what's now happening: https://youtu.be/ZCni6w2WVGE As soon as I turn the programme dial to begin (which typically acts as 'power on' but doesn't start the wash cycle itself), a loud repeated clicking happens (as in, 4 clicks a second) and the lights across the whole top section of buttons all flicker. When I return the programme dial to the off position, the clicking stops a second later. What I've tried, to no avail: Checked the drum, seal and filter for debris. Inserted a new fuse in the plug…

Hi all, I've been all around the internet trying to work this one out; I need to replace a broken handle on my Hotpoint WDPG 9640 (I think it's one of the Hotpoint-Ariston ones) and am fairly confident, however I need a Torx driver to get the door off of the hinge in order to fit the new handle. What size of Torx driver do I need for this? I don't want to spend a load of money on a (for me) single use tool that's going to be wrong. Thanks!

I'm fixing my mother in laws washing machine, and found the cables that go into the door interlock were corroded and have burnt out. I managed to find a new door interlock easy enough online (ZV-446) but the snap connector where the cables terminate and plug into the interlock is also fried and I am really struggling to find anything even close online. I'm just wondering if anyone can help, maybe I'm not searching for the right thing. below is a link to images of the plug I'm trying to source any help greatly appreciated! https://imgur.com/a/JmjcziK

I have just acquired this machine which is 2 years old. Im not sure when it was last used. When checking the dryer program it immediately blew a load of white/dark grey kind of grit mixed with sand into the door gasket. I've taken the top of to inspect and noted it has a kind of white furry powder stuck around the fan housing, looks very much like when a battery leaks acid and it firs up. I really don't want to strip the dryer part as I know how difficult it is to take apart. Any advice appreciated please as what it could be and whether I should inspect further. I am guessing maybe it's just a build up of lint etc?

Good afternoon, Excuse me for my bad English. I hope you'll understand me and you'lle be able to help me. My washmachine Hoover Nextra HNL 6146 show the error code 7. The magnet was out of the tacho ring. I've remount the magnet and the washmachine worked again perfectly. But only once. The next time I've tried to wash, the machine moved very strongly. It seems that it doesn't find the right speed. The drum turns a little bit too fast during the washing program and hesitates to speed up. It happens also when the washmachine is empty. If I try the spinning program, it hesitates to speed up and, I think, try to balance the drum. But it is empty. Ther…

I have a Zanussi FLS1183W. It will wash, but not spin. I have read the troubleshooting guide and consequently have tried the following without success: - Checking for obstructions in drain pipes - Checking correct function of drain motor - Checking that pressure switch pipe is not blocked - Checking that pressure switch works (3 clicks each given different combinations of continuity from the 8 connector pins. Have not been able to check that combinations are correct since I cannot find a wiring diagram. However I have confirmed that machine is correctly detecting partial and complete filling.) - I have also removed and replaced all connections to …

Please can someone kindly comment on this Bosch washing machine noise when on a spin cycle. I suspect it is bearings but the noise disappears when on faster speed cycles so before I buy the costly bearings I would appreciate some expert advice. Thank you. https://youtu.be/GvNoysdh1U4

Samsung WF70F5EDW4X will not drain. I was doing a small load when my washing machine had shown a 5UD error message. I let it be as I read it could be the excess detergent. It didn't clear up and had now shown a 5E error message. I drained the water out using the emergency drain pipe and cleaned the filter. I then ran a 95°C cotton cycle as standard self clean advised by Samsung. Same thing happened it did not drain. I removed the water using the emergency pipe again and left it for a day. The next day, water have accumulated inside the drum which smelt bad. I tried looking into the filter again and a lot of foul smelling grime have accumulated and I had a look a…

Hi, I have a Bosch maxx 6 code "WAB28161GB/01". I moved from the UK to the Dominican Republic and have tried to use the machine since I have moved. I am on 220v so that is not the issue as you can choose both 110 and 220 here. there now seems to be a problem with the machine finishing cycles. It worked the last time I used it in London before the move so maybe in transit it got knocked about and something became dis-attached? It washes fine, gets to the right temperature etc. The problem seems to be that is does not want to spin and drain properly at the end of the cycles. It has done a 90 degree white wash and I saw the drain pump work halfway through that cycle but then…

My Hotpoint washer drier WDAL 8640 P door would not open and handle also broke. I replaced the handle and the interlock, but now it does not lock. The machine seems to know that the door is shut, but after a few seconds delay where I presume it is checking if the door has locked, the lock light starts flashing and a beeping alarm sounds. The door is not locking. Any suggestions?

Hello, I have the above machine. It keeps stopping ‘mid wash’, with two flashing lights (numbers 2 and 4) and the start button rapidly flashing. Various sources say this is fault 10, which indicates a pressure valve problem. I have changed that, and blown down the pipe to check for blockages. All to no avail. Has anyone got any other ideas? Thanks in advance phil
