Roffers
Hello, is there anyone that can identify what the problem is with my washing machine that has developed a small leak. I recently dyed some clothes and this forunately helped in highlighting where it's coming from. These images are taken from the bottom of the tub. Img 1img 2 It's the classic "should I repair or replace?" question. I think I've had the machine for about 8 years now, so I'm swaying towards replace (plus, I like shiny new things). Many thanks in advance for any help.
Root Admin Whitegoodshelp (Andy) Posted July 24, 2019 Root Admin Report Share Posted July 24, 2019 Hello. It looks like it's leaking from the seal between the two halves of the outer drum. It would need the entire drum removing and stripping down. However, I can't find a drum seal available, only the two halves of the drum separately. Potentially one or both could come with the seal. To be honest, it might just not be worth worth repairing. Need a repair or spare parts?
