uumode
Does anyone know if the LEDs remain lit when washing (providing a washing spectacular show, or unspectacular depending what's in the wash )? - or if they only come on when loading and unloading? and if the Silent Professional Motors of these machines are quieter for the £200+ quid step up from the W3240? I'm confused as what to get, I think I've discounted AEG, I thought I was going to get the W1512 for £430, then saw the 10 year guarantees on the above said models. W3240 is £634, so £200 more but with a 10 year warranty, which makes the W1512 seem poor value. The W3922 is about £833 so another £200 more than the W3240, but with LEDs and Silent Pro Motor and the odd bell and whistle. - and at £400 more than the entry level W1512, but in consideration of the 10 year warranty, doesn't look 'so bad' I like the new shape designs better than the old traditional shapes but Miele didn't apply the 10 year guarantee to those
GOOSE
On our 3922 the LED is only on during loading and unloading. We can't hear the motor at all, just the sound of sloshing water.

Sponge
My W4446 is the same. I was somewhat disappointed when I discovered the LED went out. But then I realised I was watching my new machine wash my clothes, gave myself a wake-up slap and watched TV instead.

Root Admin Whitegoodshelp (Andy) Posted February 13, 2007 Root Admin Report Share Posted February 13, 2007 That video sounds very noisy. It can't be an accurate representation of how quiet a Miele washing machine is. Need a repair or spare parts? It can't be an accurate representation of how quiet a Miele washing machine is. After filming my own Miele washing machine in the course of writing a new review, I can confirm that videoing washing machines amplifies the sound and is therefore very unreliable as a guide to how quiet a washing machine is. My resulting video made the Miele sound noisy when it is in fact the quietist washing machine I've ever seen. This is most likely due to something called automatic level control, which compresses the sounds. Need a repair or spare parts?
