AEG 70530 Lavomat - leaks on every wash

Has anyone had the same problem with the AEG Lavomat model 70530 OKO update model, where it always leaks towards the end  of each wash?

 

Trying to isolate exactly where the leak is coming from?

 

any suggestions much appreciated

Hello. I've written extensive advice regarding searching for leaks on a washing machine here - Washing machine leaking The article starts off with tips and contains links to various other leak related articles. If it only leaks towards the end of a wash cycle it could be directly related to something at the end of the wash such as during spin, but it could also just be a relatively smallish leak that takes an hour or so to get big enough to be seen.

I've looked through the great advice, but nothing suggests how to fix when there is water leaking from the front of the tray, and out the rectangular hole at the back behind the tray, looks like an air intake?

Is it leaking from there only during spin? Or only when filling with water?
