duffsparky
Hi All, I've got the FW133W model which I bought new in the mid 80's I believe, and it's still going - original motor and original electronics, have replaced pump, belt and motor brushes several times, door seal once and motor bearing on none pulley end (couldn't get the pulley off to replace bearing that end), other than that it's all original. It has just overfilled and I can't find out how to pump (only) the water out. I've been trying to find a manual online for ages with out success despite searching hi and low. If anyone could point me towards one on the net I'd very much appreciate it, and or if any one has got a manual and can tell me how to pump (only) the water out that would be really great; although I've now managed to drain the water out and hopefully cured the overfill issue - pressure switch bottle was gummed up. Any help would be much appreciated.
Root Admin Whitegoodshelp (Andy) Posted February 27, 2012 Root Admin Report Share Posted February 27, 2012 I don't know what you mean when you ask how to pump just the water out. Spin pumps the water out. It's unlikely to have a program that only drains the water although I have seen it on some older machines. If there's a no spin button that may help. You should be able to drain it by just keep turning it back to the start of the spin programme. You could also try draining it manually using the advice and links here - washing machine won't drain waterHere's advice on overfilling Need a repair or spare parts?
