Burford
We had bought this model of washer/dryer last week, installed last Thursday. After each drying cycle, when the door is opened, there is a lot of steam comes from the drum and the clothes are hot. Is this to be expected, or is there a fault. As far as I understand the handbook, there is supposed to be a cool tumble before the end of the cycle. Thanks in advance for any comments. Root Admin Whitegoodshelp (Andy) Posted January 4, 2012 Root Admin Report Share Posted January 4, 2012 Yes there should be a cooling down period. Make sure no one is turning the cold water tap off prior to running the dryer as the dryer part needs a steady trickle of cold water running into the condenser chamber to get rid of the steam. If the clothes are hot and wet there's probably a fault. Need a repair or spare parts?
