Root Admin Whitegoodshelp (Andy) Posted November 28, 2011 Root Admin Report Share Posted November 28, 2011 If the brushes are not worn right down, and are nice and shiny plus you get a reading between them through the appropriate pins they should be ok. If you get continuity between the other pins then it implies the motor should run or at least attempt to run. If it doesn't then other problems such as connection issues on the motor plugs could be to blame. Also the control module may be faulty. I never advise anyone to speculatively replace control modules or pcbs though. You get no possibility of returning them, they can be expensive, and are the most misdiagnosed parts on washing machines. If you've eliminated anything obvious I would advise getting an engineer in rather than speculatively swapping parts.
