flydigital
My integrated undershelf washing machine has been leaking. I suspected from the main door. I removed the large wooden panel on the front that's part of the kitchen facia to expose the raw machine and a thin plane of metal that is the actual door. I did this to confirm more clearly where the dribble was coming from but now that the heavy door is off the dribbling has stopped. Is the door to heavy and has been deforming the seal or is the seal just old and a new one will withstand the weight of the door? Thanks for any advice... Root Admin Whitegoodshelp (Andy) Posted September 20, 2011 Root Admin Report Share Posted September 20, 2011 I would guess the latter. Make sure the seal is clean and free from bits of undissolved detergent, hairs, strands of cotton etc. and also clean the door glass at the back where it presses against the door seal before thinking of replacing it as anything getting between the back of the door glass and the seal can make a good door seal leak..5 tips for finding a washing machine leak Need a repair or spare parts?
