carlosg
Hi I recently repaired a fault on the Timer PCB on my Hotpoint WM52 washing machine. While reinstalling the Timer PCB I noticed there is a 2 pin Green push on wire that I'm not sure where it should fit. There are 3 possible options written on the PCB to connect it, they are PUMP, TEST and RPM. I'm reluctant to guess as I'm worried it may blow the PCB. Is there any kind soul out there that has a Pic of the Timer and the green 2 Pin wire or a service manual (not user manual) or schematic for WM52? Root Admin Whitegoodshelp (Andy) Posted August 8, 2011 Root Admin Report Share Posted August 8, 2011 Unfortunately I don't have the wiring diagram, and they aren't readily available as manufacturers don't make them publicly available. Although too late for you, a good tip is to always take plenty of photos with a digital camera or phone before doing any repairs so you have a good refereance as to exactly how things were before you do anything. Sometimes there can be a spare connector that's not connected to anything used for testing purposes. Are you sure it was connected to anything before? Need a repair or spare parts? carlosg
Hi Thanks for your help. Yes it was connected previously and by chance I found some video footage on Youtube and managed to spot the location of the wire and all is fine now...
