Root Admin Whitegoodshelp (Andy) Posted July 7, 2011 Root Admin Report Share Posted July 7, 2011 Hotpoint (and Indesit) washing machines can go completely dead, with no error code displayed and lights on if there is a problem with the door lock, motor, heater or some of the connections. Even an open circuit inlet valve can stop the machine with no error code. The fault could even be down to a faulty main pcb.I would get an engineer in.
