RobSullUK Posted February 10, 2025 Posted February 10, 2025 Hi all, I have a Bosch serie 8 machine and I'm fairly sure the bearings are starting to go (noisy spin, slight resistance at points when rotating drum by hand). I bought it refurbished 2 years ago, so no manufacturers warranty. I've been told it's not cost -effective to fix... Is this right? What sort of cost am I looking at? Thanks!
Root Admin Whitegoodshelp Posted February 10, 2025 Root Admin Posted February 10, 2025 Hi. A lot of drum bearings aren't available only come complete with a new outer drum. This makes it ridiculously expensive. Some might sell bearings but you need special tools to fit. Generally its not worth bothering with any more. Need a repair or spare parts?
