Hello all, my washer dryer BEKO WDIY854310F 2018 model doesn't turn on. I've seen great advice on this forum about the failing diodes, so I've removed the PCB and tested the diodes. I was expecting the D7 to be faulty, but it reads .315v and OL in the opposite direction. That made me think the D7 is ok. I've tested all diodes and find out D6 is faulty (.000 readings in both directions). Could you please help me choose the right replacement for the D6? What should I look for? Thank you

The number I can see on the D6 is 93 510

I don't have any experience in this field, so this would be my first diode replacement. Hope to sort it out in the end. Many thanks

Hi. The main information about this issue is here BEKO WDX8543130W no lights on but all the information about diodes and individual components in the PCB were from members who have some electronics experience. Unfortunately, domestic appliance engineers are never taught anything about PCBs and are only instructed to replace them whole.

It should be noted also, that any washing machine that shows no sign of life could have any number of faults. It could be anything from the fuse in the plug, the wall socket, the cable, the suppressor, the on off switch etc. So all of these other faults need to be checked before the PCB.

I have an article here that covers the basics washing machine won't start - dead

Thanks, In my case the D6 was faulty. I've found a kind seller on ebay who advised which diode can replace the D6 (the SR5100). Got one replacement, soldered it into place and now the washing machine is working again.

Great advice on this forum, really happy I've got the chance to see it.

All the best!
