Root Admin Whitegoodshelp (Andy) Posted August 21 Root Admin Report Share Posted August 21 Could it be something stuck between the inner and outer drum? The first thing I would do is disconnect from the mains and then take off the drive belt. If the noise is still there with the belt off it’s something to do with the drum. Check there isn’t something like a bra wire poking through one of the holes in the drum. Morray 1 Need a repair or spare parts? Morray
Thanks for the advice. I have looked carefully inside the drum to see if something is sticking out of one of the drum holes, but nothing found. I have managed to find a specific point which makes the noise when I rotate the drum. I've added another video. Root Admin Whitegoodshelp (Andy) Posted August 22 Root Admin Report Share Posted August 22 That sounds like rubber. Is the drum catching on the back of the door seal? Check all around. Morray
I have removed the belt, and the drum is moving freely. This is the belt condition. Should I relace it?
Root Admin Whitegoodshelp (Andy) Posted August 24 Root Admin Report Share Posted August 24 Definitely. It could be the source of the rubber noise. Morray 1 Need a repair or spare parts?
