Bleep from Hotpoint Washing machine

Reading on from various other posts, here is my situation so others can make a comparison. I have a Hotpoint Washing Machine just under 2 years old. For the first 18 months is was all good but recently I hear it beeping mid cycle. Its always 3 beeps together, beep beep beep. My Washing rituals have not changed so can't think It is due to the load. Why isn't Hotpoint addressing this issue, it seems to be common. I usually put the cycle on 'Synthetics at 40° and the full (long cycle) 2hr 55mins. Usually about 1 hour into the cycle the beeping starts. It drives me mad as I keep looking at the display screen but there is no fault or warnings, so why is it doing this, what does it mean. * The Washing cycle thankfully is functioning well but why oh why the annoying beeps !
