dal
Purchased machine in January this year, my mum realised a there was a bump/ lump in rubber door seal - see pic. Samsung are saying they don't cover the seal in the guarantee - had several calls to and from. Unfortunately been over 28 days since delivery when mum noticed the lump. What could this mean? Water isn't leaking? Is it bad to keep using the machine? Please help and advise!
Root Admin Whitegoodshelp (Andy) Posted March 20 Root Admin Report Share Posted March 20 Hi Dal. I wouldn't think that is anything to worry about, to be honest. As long as the rubber seems just as solid as everywhere else, I can't see it being a problem. However, Samsung are completely wrong to say they don't cover the door seal under the guarantee. They could say they don't cover the door seal against wear and tear, or against any damage caused by the user. But if the door seal is actually faulty, then they must cover it under the guarantee.
