gareth1987 Posted March 1, 2023 Posted March 1, 2023 so our hisense washer and dryer model WDQY9014EVJM has decided to stop spinning, still turns on and fills with water and drains but no spin at all, thought it might be the brushes but from what i have found out it doesn't use brushes so dont know where to go next, any help appreciated
Root Admin Whitegoodshelp Posted March 2, 2023 Root Admin Posted March 2, 2023 Hi. Carbon brushes are the main did repair available. If the motor doesn't have thrm it could be anything from a connection fault, a motor fault, or a capacitor fault, or even the pcb. There's not much you can do after checking the motor plug, connectors and wires going to the motor. It's a bad idea to speculatively change parts in the hope of a fix. Need a repair or spare parts?
