JMOSEF
Hello all, I'm new here. We bought a new washing machine last April and all has been well. There was a day before Christmas where I washeda couple of blankets. It didn't seem overloaded but was more full than I normally would fill it. It's a 10kg. I don't know if I'm just over-thinking things since but I feel that the machine has been noisier. It's not noisy on a spin, even the maximum 1400 is no louder than I would expect, there is no banging and the machine isn't vibrating excessively that I notice. But I feel that when it is washing, when the water is sloshing around inside, it seems noisier. So my question is.......would this be possible? That there would be an issue with the machine being noisier whilst washing but that the spin would be still working fine? Or am I just imagining it? Can anyone take pity no me and advise? Many thanks
Root Admin Whitegoodshelp (Andy) Posted January 21 Root Admin Report Share Posted January 21 Hi. Noises on washing machines mostly occur during spin. It's very unusual for something to be wrong that causes a noise on wash, but not on spin. Maybe if there was a squeaking noise or something associated with the washing machine gently moving about as the drum turns. Maybe if something is causing some noise, which ironically can only can be heard when it's not too noisy? If you just mean the sound of the water swishing about seems louder I can't think of anything that would cause that. Need a repair or spare parts? JMOSEF
Hi Andy, Many thanks. I appreciate your kindness and patience in replying to what most will probably think is a pointless post/question. It has put my mind at rest and I appreciate that. I can now stop banging on about the machine to my husband 😉 Have a good evening :-) Whitegoodshelp (Andy)
