Posweyb
After receiving this error code, I ran the maintenance cycle twice (with the TwinDos Care Cleaning Agent). It didn't clear the message so I ran the 'clean machine' cycle (no cleaner added). The error is still there. Any ideas what to do next? BTW Whitegoodshelp (Andy). You amended the description of the purpose of this forum, but the title still says no repairs......not sure I can suggest any way to clarify it more...troubleshooting error codes??? I guess you can always refer people over to the repair section if it falls outside your criteria. Thanks again! Pos
Root Admin Whitegoodshelp (Andy) Posted August 28, 2022 Root Admin Report Share Posted August 28, 2022 Hi Pos. All repair questions go in this washing machine repairs forum (I've moved it here now). Otherwise all the different forums for each brand just have loads of duplicated questions and answers. If a Miele washing machine isn't filling with water, or isn't pumping water out, the things to check, and possible causes, are the same as for a Hotpoint or Whirlpool or any other brand. Having said that, only a few brands currently have the auto dosing systems although I expect they all will eventually. You've done all the sensible things. I would guess that the message to run the cycle is just a timed one, or based on how many washes it's done, but if so there's no logical reason why it wouldn't automatically reset afterwards. What does it say in the instruction manual about it? Are there any specific instructions on how to do it? Also, is there any mention of it in troubleshooting section (usually) at the back? If the message to run the Twindos maintenance cycle is somehow triggered by a blockage instead, then it may have failed to clear the blockage or there could be a fault on the sensor. See if you can find instructions on how to maybe remove and clean things. Need a repair or spare parts?
